The class towers.

I moved my wand, and the mana arrows pierced through while my whip crushed the dogs with force, eliminating all the enemies. Finally, I reached what I was aiming for.

<You received experience>

<You received experience>

<You received experience>

<You 5 have leveled up to level>

<You cannot level up further until you choose your class>

"Ah..." I let out a tired sigh and sat down by the tree while observing the surroundings. I remembered the book I took from the chest and retrieved it from my inventory.

<Fairy Tale Book: The First Mage>

And I opened the story.

<A long, long time ago...a mage had a profound interest in mana and magic. His was so great that he studied all kinds of magic the very essence mana. He explored everything there to explore even what wasn't, delving into laws world, magic, It is said powerful helped understand aspects world gods others were impressed surprised. Although never became deity, it at some point, feared him because his power abilities…>

I read the book more than once and became extremely curious about this character and the possibility of him being real, as the way he was narrated was more like an epic tale rather than a fairy tale. The Mage seemed to have traveled through dimensions, planets, continents, and countless places, distributing his knowledge and acquiring other insights.

Despite loving the book, I put it back in my inventory after reading it a few times and stood up, lightly brushing the leaves and other dirt off my pants, and started walking through the forest towards the class tower, while observing the various players.

In the center of the village, I could see the different towers that identified the various classes. Each tower had images and colors that seemed to represent the job classes. The first had red and green colors with statues and drawings of strong men using various weapons in front of it, including bows, swords, axes, spears, and others: the warrior tower. Another tower had white, yellow, and green colors representing life and support, with statues and drawings of people who looked like priests or knightly guardians of a religion: the support tower, sometimes called the enchanter's tower. Another had purple, gray, and black colors with figures of animals, monsters, or skulls and individuals who resembled magicians but also appeared to be beings of death. It had an aura opposite to the previous one: the tamer and necromancer tower. The last tower had beautiful blue colors, beige tones, and gold, with figures that seemed to resemble wise beings, scholars, and even statues of books and other items. In some parts, images of elements also seemed to stand out: the mage tower. After observing the towers, I headed towards the one I desired.

The blue tower, the mage tower.

Inside the tower, I saw a counter at the front and stairs leading to different places. The room had a magical and mysterious air, with runes, magical circles, books, and other decorations. In front of the tower was a middle-aged woman with white hair and a medium height. She had the appearance of a mage, wearing typical robes, with a pointed hat and a wand in her hand. A gentle aura surrounded her as she welcomed some students and directed them to different places using the stairs. I stood in line, and after a few moments, I was in front of her. I didn't notice it, but when she looked at me, a glow could be seen emanating from her eyes hidden behind her glasses. A glow that seemed to see everything in me—my aura, energy, other aspects, and even my inventory as if she was looking for an item.

However, this happened so quickly that it lasted only a few seconds, so I didn't think much about it and just thought she was pondering something.

"Um, miss?"

"Pleased to meet you, young one. I am the head of the mage tower. Do you want to become a mage?"

"Yes, I do," I replied without hesitation. But unlike usual, for some reason, she started asking me questions related to concepts I had read in the library books, and I answered as she asked. After a few minutes, she seemed to have finished… which made me feel like I was in some kind of surprise test. At least another attendant came and started welcoming the players… although the attendant looked just like the mage of the tower, which I wasn't sure if it was my impression or real.

"As the last question, what do you think is the potential of mana?"

I responded according to what I remembered and felt.

"According to the scholar Algazal, mana is everything and nothing. It belongs to the whole world and at the same time to no place. Mastering mana is impossible, but it is the most possible thing because it belongs to everyone and everything. For those interested in the study of magic, discover its potential, but understand that in the end, everyone draws an aspect of mana because mana is part of and at the same time the laws that govern the universe."

She looked satisfied.

"Great, I have a different opportunity for you. It is a unique opportunity, but I cannot give more details, and it will depend on whether you accept or reject it."

"Do you want to accept?"

"Yes," I replied, as it seemed like a sign of a special quest and even the potential of a different and special class.

As soon as I replied, I didn't have time to react further, as she waved her wand like a witch or fairy godmother in my direction. I felt a force more powerful than anything and which rendered me powerless, making me vanish from where I was, taking me who knows where…

She observed this with a happy and satisfied smile.

"A successor of that person... hehe, we'll see how it goes and if he will succeed, and what the possible repercussions in the world will be... but for now, let's remove the other one and get back to work."

As soon as she finished murmuring, she waved the mysterious wand again in the air and snapped her fingers. Time seemed to stop, and reality around began to transform, erasing a fictitious scenario and entering another. The substitute attendant turned into pure mana and dissolved into the air as if it were a doppelgänger or similar while she remained in place and started talking to the students. But no one in the tower noticed anything she did.

"Welcome, young one, do you want to become a mage?"

"Yes!"

"Great, good mana to you, proceed to the next floor to choose your possibilities on this path."

"Okay, thank you."

And so, everything returned as if nothing had changed, and no one seemed to notice his entry or disappearance.
