"Can I be honest with you?" Orpheus asked.
"Of course."
"The truth is, they abandoned me. The people of our lands sacrificed me for their so-called religion. Isn't that funny? Even my own family gave me up just to satisfy the people's desires and greed."
Orpheus doesn't want to end their relationship. He doesn't want to leave. He doesn't want to be sacrificed.
But Orpheus was forced to do it since he was unwilling to comply with their wishes. Instead, they knocked him up and put him in a traveling boat. When he woke up, Orpheus was sailing alone in the middle of the sea and has no idea where is he.
Orpheus tried to go back. He tried tracking his way back to his kingdom. But Orpheus was captured by the slave traders. Because of his good looks, they quickly took interest in him and decided to capture him and sell him for a high price. He tried to fight them, but those slave traders are cunning.
