My Mother's Lie
My mother had been the kindest person to me ever since I was born. Compared to father, she looked like heaven as he was hell.
She always treated me nicely and kept me comfortable and supported me even in my darkest moments. When my father tried to force me to act like a male, she consoled me and held my back.
She even once promised to save me from all this, however death didn't give her any time to fulfill her promise.
So seeing her face once again in front of my eyes paralyzed my mind instantly. It was like an electric shock passed from her face and dominated every cell in my body.
I couldn't move… I couldn't think… I couldn't even breathe for long moments.
Her face… It was an exact image of what I recall about her. She was elegant, giving anyone the sense of strength and security just from the look in her eyes.
