Awkward Moment
I was so nervous that I felt the seconds as long minutes. The moment he got near my skin, I couldn't help but shiver.
And his soft touch over my shoulder calmed me a lot.
I had to admit, I imagined the bite to be more painful, much different. It was stranger than what I expected.
First I didn't feel anything except three pairs of needles pricking softly on my skin. I should have felt pain, lots of pain, but that didn't happen.
What really happened was for my body to feel magically light like it became lighter than a feather.
I swore I even floated at this moment. I didn't know if I was seeing things or not, but after what I just experienced I took what happened for granted.
I thought that drinking my blood would paralyze me, drive me to be mad or even die.
However I didn't feel even that. I didn't feel any loss of a drop of blood from my body, like it never happened.
