Emma furrowed her brow, looking at Angelica who was smiling at her even though there was no reason to smile.
"Mom... I thought you were already asleep so I went to my room," Angelica said, her heart pounding, constantly thinking about Charlie under the bed. "I hurried to my room because I had to change my pad," she continued.
"Oh..." Emma glanced around the simple, narrow room.
"Um, what are you looking for?" Angelica asked.
"I just remembered that last night I kept the mosquito spray in this room," Emma replied, then walked towards the dressing table. "I can't sleep if there are many mosquitoes in the room..."
"Oh... Why don't you just go back to your room, I'll find the mosquito spray," Angelica said, approaching her mother.
"It's okay, I'll find it now, I think I placed it in this wardrobe drawer," Emma replied, then walked towards the wardrobe where the bottom part was a drawer.
