Chapter 16

It was the second day of our trip and we were at the beach,the weather seemed to favour us as it was sunny,the perfect time for the beach but there I was sitting on one of the beach chairs in a white shirtdress which was tied in the middle with a belt,viewing and appreciating how beautiful the ocean was,I got tired,I grabbed my phone to check my social media accounts.

"We are at the beach,we supposed to have fun and here you are scrolling through whatever"He retorted from behind. I didn't bother to look at me,I continued scrolling through Tiktok

"Drop the phone"

"I'm not doing that"I replied,still watching videos.

"You won't right?"

"Nope"I answered popping the P.

"Okay then"He replied.

Good he is gone

I was still grinning at the amazing tiktok videos of teenagers when his hands landed on my tickled spot,he tickled hell outta of me.

"L..l...ucas...s.st..op"I begged amidst laughter."My ph...onne,Lu..cas please st..op"I appealed still laughing so hard.

If he doesn't stop I might die

He stopped after a while of tormenting me,I was on the bare floor with my white dress,he kneed above my body with his hands and knees on the ground with his chain dangling,he was only on black shorts,I blinked several times to make sure I wasn't seeing double.

"Lucas,get off me"I managed to say as I pushed him away. He stood up and stretched his hands to pull me up,I took his hands and stood up dusting sand off my dress and then it was dawned on me that we were really at the beach

You are so weird, ofcourse you are at the beach

I looked around to see some people in complete clothes,some in shorts,some in bikini's and I turned back to look more like drool over his body

He had almost the same physique with Jace,the only difference was that he was leaner,he had the complete 6 packs not 6 ribs

He has that too

Everybody has 6 ribs

Just seeing him shirtless made me loose my senses,I took time in checking him out because I might never see him like this again

"Stop drooling"His words brought me back to reality.

"I wasn't drooling"I denied."Yeah,sure"He replied in a sarcastic tone.

Olivia walked to meet us

"Hey guys and Michelle why are you still wearing your dress?"She asked,staring at my clothes.

Olivia was in a sexy cover up thong swimsuit and her hair in cornrows which I helped her weave the previous night

Well we are at the beach so

"Yeah,why are you still wearing your clothes?"Lucas fired.

Relax people I'm just ashamed of my body,exposing my body in front of strangers and classmates, I ain't used to it

"By the way,there's gist o,Lucas have you told her?"She looked toward Lucas and raised her brows,he shook his head in response.

"What's the gist about?"I asked,looking downwards and loosing my belt off my dress.

"Last night, Cassandra got pounded"

I rose my head and gasped,my eyes widened,my hands clasped my mouth and looked towards Cassandra's direction.

"Don't look at her,I don't want it to look like we are gossiping about her"Olivia tilted my head towards hers.

"But aren't we are gossiping about her"Lucas objected. Olivia passed him a deadly glare and he gulped,he quenched his thirst with the coke can drink in his hand.

Where and when did he get that from?!

"No way,who did?"I asked."Who else!Jace Walker ofcourse"She replied,crossing her arms.

"How did you know?"I asked in disbelief. Olivia and Lucas turned to face each other,"Almost everybody heard her scream,Lucas heard her moaning like..."

"It's okay!"A scowl danced on my face as I slowly turned to see her straddling Jace who sat next to Mason,Kim and Leo.

Ugh!!

She wore a zipper swimsuit and Jace played with the zip as he slowly pulled it,making her giggle more like laugh like an hyena,she was enjoying the game he was playing.

"St..o..op"I heard her say as she giggled since her voice was very loud.

You know when a guy plays with a girl and she says Stop but she's ironically saying Please Continue that's exactly what she's doing

I glared at her back,Jace's eyes met mine and Cassandra slowly turned to face me, I gave her my deadliest glare,she just rolled her eyes and turned back,Jace was still staring at me,it turned into a furious stare but it wasn't at me,it was to Lucas,they were both engaged in a furious gaze.

Okay,what's going on here?!I'm lost

Lucas was the first to break the stare and turned to Olivia,Jace did thesame.

"Anyways,she is going to get dumped like the rest"I shrugged.

"I know right"

"So true"

They agreed,this whole time I didn't notice that they hid something behind them.

"What are you hiding?"I bent my neck to the side to find out what she was hiding,I did thesame for Lucas,they shifted before an evil smirk appeared on their faces.

"Attack!!"Olivia commanded as they blasted me with their water guns,I used my hands as a shield.

I quickly took off my dress not caring anymore about my body and the people around,I was left in my black sexy cut out swimsuit,it showed part of my flat tummy,I loosed my hair that I had styled into a bun and let it down.

Ready for some action

Lucas and Olivia stopped immediately to check me out,they both had different expressions on their face. Lucas had a frozen look on his face,his mouth slightly apart,his eyes slowly observed my long hair then moved ponderously to my body

Was he drooling ?

A smirk appeared on my face even though I was still shy of the stretch marks on my thighs and butt,Olivia just had the "You are gonna kill the boys"kinda look.

I snapped my fingers at Lucas to bring him back to wherever he went

"Stop drooling"I repeated his statement and he turned to face somewhere else avoiding my eyes.

"Dude,I think your sister wants to kill us like just look at that a*s"I heard Leo say to Mason.

"Don't be a jerk"Mason replied,hitting him. Jace just stared at me for awhile and looked away

Well he has seen nicer bodies than this

I tied a scarf around my waist and grabbed two water guns and screamed "Attack!!"

We started blasting each other,I ran like a little child giggling all the way as I shot water at them,my hair flew in the air as I ran,they pursued me till the water in the guns got finished by the time we were done with the game,we were breathing heavily except Lucas.

"Let's make Tiktok videos"Olivia suggested as she finished drinking a bottle of water,I grabbed one too and gulped it rapidly.

"Let's make Snapchat videos and pictures first"I suggested and they both agreed.

We took tons of selfies and pictures,we did funny faces,cute faces,weird faces,angry faces and also hilarious cute videos,the video that I hopped on Lucas's back and we ran to play at the shore,I looked so happy in it,it was fun.

Olivia's phone rang and she blushed when she saw the caller ID,I followed my instinct and turned to see Mason,he had a wide grin on his face while Kim on the other hand had a scornful look,she turned to talk to Jace,I shook my head and chuckled at the love triangle.

"Be right back,guys"Olivia said walking away."Just say see you later,guys because we know you aren't coming back"I joked.

She waved us and heading towards Mason,I turned to see Lucas staring at me not with lust but a sincere stare?

I don't know.

"Why are you staring at me?"I perked my eyebrows in confusion.

"Because you are beautiful"He replied still staring into my eyes.

I didn't hear well

"Awww,so you think I'm beautiful,let me have my moment,let me have my moment"I dramatically fanned myself,pretending to cry.

"Must you be overdramatic"He rolled his eyes and buried his face in his hands playfully.

"I'm serious and girl!you got hair"He complimented.

"Awwn,thanks sweetheart"I flipped my hair dramatically.

"And I have a handsome?,no, cute?, attractive?,I have a hot attractive bestfriend that's if whatever I just said made sense"I giggled.

"Well,thank you,I'm honoured"He stood up and bowed,making me chuckle.

"Lucas"

"Yeah"

"Why don't you have a girlfriend?"I was dying of curiosity.

How come hot guys don't date?

"Why don't you have a boyfriend?"He diverted my question.

"Lucas,I asked first"I pouted my lips.

"Ladies first,so you will answer me first"He objected.

"Okay fine"I sighed.

"The only guy I have a crush on is a full time playboy and I know it's weird and stupid to have feelings for a player when I know we will never be a thing"I pinned my head to the ground,using my toes to play with the sand.

"Well,he doesn't know you like him, does he?"

"Nop but when I asked him what his reaction would be if a girl had feelings for him,he said she should kill those feelings and I'm doing just that"I explained.

That's a lie I still have a huge crush on him!!

"So you don't like him anymore?"

I shook my head in response and repeated the question,I had earlier asked.

"Now,your turn,why don't you have a girlfriend?"

He went silent for awhile before he spoke

"My last love story didn't end well"He shrugged.

"I showed her love not because I was supposed to as her boyfriend but because I was madly in love with her but she was in love with someone else"He seethed as he clenched his fist.

"I thought maybe she would realize how much I love her and reciprocate that love but she broke up with me for him"He scorned."Do you know the funny thing?The boy wasn't even into her,he didn't have one bit of feelings for her"He said with a scoff.

"Your ex was horrible"

"No,she wasn't,she was just deceived by the guy"He defended.

Seems he is still in love with her

"You are still in love with her,aren't you?"I asked,touching his hands.

"No,I'm n..oot"He stuttered.

He just needs true love not unrequited and why am I sounding like I like him?

I think I like Lucas

What about Jace?

Maybe God sent Lucas as replacement for him

"Okay"I muttered.

Jace's POV

"Why are you staring at her like that?"Kim asked as she nudged my arm.

"No reason"I lied.

"No reason?and you have been stealing glances at her"

"Do you like her?"Kim smirked.

"What!No,I don't"I put on a make-believe scornful look on my face.

"Stop lying,it's not a bad thing if almighty Jace catches feelings"She beamed.

"Then why are you always pissed whenever you see her with Lucas"A smirk danced on her face,she's obviously forcing me to confess but I won't.

"Because I feel he is a bad guy and she shouldn't be around him"

"He seems nice,he doesn't look toxic to me"Kim looked towards Lucas and Michelle who was busy laughing at whatever he just said.

"Just tell me the truth,you know you can't hide it from me"

"Okay fine,I think I like her,I think!"I admitted.

"I knew it!She screamed.

"Kimberly!Keep your voice down"I did the shush sign.

"If you like her then why do you keep making out with different girls,she has a crush on you,don't you know she will feel hurt when she sees you with another girl"She stated.

"First of all, I said I think I like her, I'm not sure and besides what makes you think she has a crush on me"I frowned.

"I'm a girl,I see the way her eyes always lit up when she's around you and always feels irritated and broken when she sees you with other girls,didn't you see the way she looked Cassandra today,I'm sure she wanted to kick Cassy over your body",She explained.

"Well,I saw the way she looked at Cassandra but I didn't see a reason why she did but until I'm sure of my feelings,I won't let her know how I feel"

"Just be quick,bro before someone takes your girl"She tapped my shoulder and started scrolling through her phone.

Poor Kim,here she was talking about relationships while her crush and imaginary LOHL was in love with Olivia.
