Prologue

"Oh! Look at her, she's so pretty."

"I know, she's adorable."

"I wonder if she's single."

"You think I can ask for her number?"

Ashley Johnson stepped inside the massive building with her expensive purse and her chin raised high up. She crossed the halls, heels loudly clicking against the clean and smooth marble floors. She continued to stride past numerous people, turning heads as she swayed her hips and tucked her hair behind her ear. She was aware of the whispers resounding in the rooms as she passed by people. She doesn't hate the attention, it's actually what she strives for.

She knew that people would start talking about her once they see her. She's prepared for it all, earlier this morning. As she pulled her black stockings on which was reaching her thighs, she knew people would fawn over her slim legs. She was mindful of the fact that people would be staring into her bright brown eyes. She was aware that the bright-colored top she wore along with the fitting skirt that paired with it would catch eyes and she was not oblivious to the fact that everybody would love her.
