"Momma, is Arianna coming home today?" Juniorprince asked, Jennifer was putting on his socks

Juniorprince is Arianna's child but Jennifer plays the mother role in his life

"Yes, are you happy?" She asked and he shook his head negatively

"She doesn't like me, she's always mean and scary," Juniorprince said and Jennifer cupped his cheeks

"She loves you a lot, she's just going through a hard time, now let's get going, you don't wanna be late on your first day at school," Jennifer said and he hugged her tightly

"Jennifer, it's almost 8:00, leave him already. you can eat him when he's back," Adrian said, he holds his forehead waiting by the door

"Momma, do you eat humans? Are you gonna eat me?" Juniorprince asked and Jennifer chuckled softly

She pocked his cheeks and touched his hair

"No, am not a Zombie that eat humans brain," Jennifer replied and Adrian walked over to them, he carried Juniorprince out while Jennifer laughed at him

He has a big frown on his face

"You should reborn him, I can't believe I will miss my first class because you of him," Adrian grumble going out

Jennifer closed the door behind her and went into the already-waiting car

"Are you guys ready?" Ivan asked, he looked back and Adrian glared at him

"Get your @ss on the road I don't wanna be late," Adrian shouted

Ivan has been Jennifer's friend since childhood, they seem like friends with benefits, he's a lawyer who Jennifer always runs to for support but he always asks for s*x in return

She can't say no, cos it's always about Arianna who won't stop getting in trouble and being arrested

"I nearly missed my class," he groans and opened the door

"H£ll no, I can't miss my class, it's either he stays with me till the first class is over or you take him," he rolled his eyes

"Adrian....." Ivan made to talk but Adrian shut him up

"Shut up worm, " Adrian fired, the fact that he f**ks Jennifer anytime she needs help is enough reason to detest him

His only crime was using Jennifer, if he was F"*king Arianna he wouldn't care less but since it's Jennifer, Adrian doesn't want to have anything to do with him

"Jenny, what should we do now?" Ivan asked, he knows how much Adrian detests him so he just maintains his distance around him

"I will take him, you should go, Adrian," Jennifer said and he rolled his eyes and left

Ivan Zoomed off instantly

Jennifer ran into the company sweating, she made her way through the elevator and comes out on the fourth floor

She checked the time again and it was exactly 9:48 am, she was late again

She ran into her office to see Anita, her boss's girlfriend waiting for her

"Oh no," Jennifer mumbled under her breath

"Well... Well, look who decided to come to work," Anita said clapping her hands together

Jennifer bent her head, she already knows that Anita is going to punish her again so she was used to it

"Jennifer Banks, you're late again, did you run over traffic or traffic ran over you today?" Anita asked, her hand fold on her chest

Jennifer gulped nothing, her head down

"Did you just snub me?" Anita asked, she raise her brow

Jennifer slowly raise her head only for a sound slap to land on her cheeks instantly

"How dare you lowlife snub me? Have you no manners," Anita yelled, she clenched her fist tightly

"Am sorry..." Another loud slap landed on her cheeks again and tears came rolling down her eyes

"Shut up," Anita snarled angrily

Jennifer gulped nothing, her head down

"You think you own this company? Did you think you can come to work whenever you want just because you have got a pretty face, what am I even saying a bad face," Anita yelled

She detests Jennifer cos of her pretty face and she's doing everything possible to keep her from the eyes of Maverick an s£x freak

Though Jennifer walks as an assistant, she has never seen her boss, Anita is always there and she's not bothered about seeing Maverick anyway

"You have been demoted, to the cleaner dorm now, cos that were lowlifes like you belong," Anita said and she went to her knees instantly

"No, Ma'am please, I have to pay college bills, I have two siblings and a little boy, if you demote me, my salary won't be enough to sponsor them," she pleaded with tears

"Get out, you sinking thing," Anita yelled and pushed her down

POLICE CUSTODY ⭐

"Jennifer take it easy, you might get sick," Ivan said

They were waiting for Arianna inside his car

"You don't understand, I just lost my job, I have been demoted. How am I going to pay bills," she said almost sobbing

"You can still get another job," Ivan replied, she glared at him and hissed

"Which job will pay enough salary to sponsor Arianna, Adrian, and Juniorprince? I just lost the good one I have cos of that witch called Anita, I would have skinned her alive if I could, but for the sake of my job I just let her be," Jennifer whimpered

Just then someone knocked on the window and Ivan Opened the door, Arianna came in with a big frown on her face

"Ari, how are you?" Jennifer asked, she smiled lightly and a glare from Arianna made the smile disappear from her face

"Arianna, don't come back here again, it's not good for you," Ivan said and she scoffed

"Since when did you become my parents?" She asked rudely

"Ari..."

"Hey... Hey... Keep it to yourself, I don't want to hear it," she shunned Jennifer who made to talk and turned to Ivan

"Will you take me out of here or should I walk home?" She asked rudely, the sound of her chewing gum echoed in the car as Ivan speed off

THE THOMSON MANSION ⭐

"Next!" Romeo shouted

Romeo is the only child of Mr. & Mrs. Thomson, He's known to be a Casanova. His life was successful until he had a terrible accident that took his waist down

He was paralyzed from his waist down, he thinks leaving will be of no use but his parents pleaded with him to spend a couple of months with them then he can decide whether to leave or not

"Hi, am Sandra....."

"Stop right there, who asked for your name?" Romeo cut in rudely and the lady kept quiet

"What are you here for?" He asked, he sat on his wheelchair

"For the job," Sandra replied with a smile

"What kinda Job?" He asked glaring at her

She frowned

"The job you offer....."

"Get out, Next!!!?" He screamed out his lungs

"I said out!!!" He yelled and she flinched back in fear

She stood up and ran out

"Stupid, look at her, she doesn't even know why she's here. How then will she take care of me," Romeo mumbled and rolled his eyes

Shortly his mother entered

"Romeo, you still didn't find anyone qualified?" Mrs. Thomson asked and he shook his head

"None of them knows why they are here," He replied

"Just pick one already," Mrs. Thomson said and he scoffed

"Why did I need to pick someone that is not up to my standard? I hate this life," he yelled angrily

"Take it, easy son," Mrs. Thomson said gently

"Don't tell me that, look at me, I use to be a strong guy but just look at me right now, looking for someone to be my nanny," He shouted

"It's not a Nanny, she will just be your ...."

"Babysitter, huh? I just wanna die and leave in peace in heaven then stay here, I hate this life," he yelled and smashed his phone against the wall

"Romeo!" Mrs. Thomson called

"F**k you mom, just allow me to die," he shouted, his wheelchair was already by the door as he opened the door and exit the room

6:20 PM ⭐

"Jennifer, why are you so sad?" Adrian asked staring at her face

They were currently having dinner

"I just got demoted all thanks to you," she replied, she took a spoonful into Juniorprince's mouth

"Does that mean I won't get the PS5 you promise to buy for me? Jennifer you promised," Adrian said and she looked at him

"Are you high, I just said I got demoted which means I can hardly pay the bills if I don't get another job and you're talking about PS5, Gosh, Adrian!" She opened her eyes wide apart staring at him

"Well, a promise is a promise," he muttered

She ignored him and continue feeding Junior, prince

"There is this website I came across and I saw a job vacancy," He added and she looked at him

"Where? Did you apply?" She asked instantly

"Well, I did cos I also wanted to get a part-time job and help," He replied and she nodded

"Your duty is to go to school and come back home then look after Juniorprince, my duty is to work and work and work until there is no work left, so you aren't working and where did you see the vacancy?" She said and he rolled his eyes

"The Thomson's mansion, it says that they are looking for a nanny, the interview was today," he replied gently

She stood up instantly and wipe her hands

"Where are you going? It's already late and the interview should have been over by now, this is 6 pm," Adrian said staring at her

"They are looking for a nanny when am here, I have been a Nanny even before I was born," she said already going out

"Don't tell me you're going there dressed like this," Adrian asked

She was wearing a simple gown with no makeup

"Am going for a nanny interview, not a beauty contest," she replied Instantly

"Momma, am still hungry," Juniorprince said about to start crying

"Sorry honey, Adrian will feed you, Adrian please," She replied and he nodded

"I also need to get a job," Adrian said and she glared at him

"You already have one, your books and Juniorprince," She replied and rushed out

Jennifer comes down from the taxi and paid the cab driver, she checked the time and it was exactly 6:58 pm

"I must get this job, it's either I get this job or the job gets me," she said to herself and started running towards the gigantic mansion

She was running so fast and she wasn't looking around till she ran into a hard chest

They both falls and she was on top of him, she stared at his face and blinked twice, she looked at him again and her eyes widen

"Maverick," she called gently

"Yeah that's me, lady, are you trying to murder me?" He asked, he pushed her off him and stood up

She quickly gets up and arranges her clothes

"Am so sorry," She shouted running away

"Stop right there," he yelled but she didn't stop

"Boys, what are you waiting for? get her," Maverick yelled at his boys and they ran after her
