It was one of the customers who came almost every day at the same time, Ezra quickly walked back to the order table to serve the man, but the man's eyes were directed to the other side. Ezra thought, that man was always distracted every time he came to this cafe. After Ezra coughed a little, the man uttered a soft 'Oh', and continued his steps towards him. He greeted him politely.
"Ezra, has Ethan gotten the hang of making coffee? Haha, he looks enthusiastic. Yesterday, when you weren't here and only Alex was working, Ethan said he'd make me a cup."
"Better not ...."
"Excuse me?"
Ezra blinked briefly realizing that he had blurted out, "I mean, Ethan is still learning, so he's still only assigned to the waffle cooking part."
"Ah, that's a pity."
"Is it your usual order? Double shots of espresso with a little cream?"
