Isabel Smith was holding the teapot, standing on the floor of the bedroom, and couldn't help but be lost in thought.
After a while, Percy Stanton's footsteps sounded outside the bedroom door. Isabel quickly put the teapot back in its original place, raised her hand to smooth her long hair, and saw Percy walking in with a cup of hot milk in his hand.
Percy frowned at Isabel, standing on the floor, and asked – somewhat annoyed, "Why did you come out?"
Isabel Smith awkwardly dodged Percy's gaze and muttered an excuse: "I feel a bit uncomfortable and want to take a bath."
As she said this, her eyes drifted, unintentionally sweeping over the ceiling lamp. Because of her voice, several softened to a warm yellow glow.
Isabel stared at the lamp light, suddenly frozen in place.
Percy calmly handed her the hot milk: "Drink the milk, and I'll run a hot bath for you. It'll make you feel better."
