14. Horrible date

"SARAH I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW you were able to convince me to agree to this horrible idea of yours"

"I'm your best friend and you love me?" Sarah said more like asked

"Is that a question?" Imaani asked looking around the restaurant for the man she was supposed to meet

She was currently in a restaurant waiting for an online date that Sarah set her up with. She had been sitting there for more than five minutes and her date was a no show

"Look, if the date goes left I can just say something funny to cheer you up or come get you instantly, thats why I'm in your ear" Sarah chuckled at her last statement

Yup she made me wear wireless buds so she can hear everything and also keep me company during the date.

"I don't even know why you made me come in the first place, he could be a serial killer or something" Imaani replied with her gaze on the dance performance the restaurant had set up.
