With Liam inside, Theodore walked me to the entrance of the house where the butler and some maids who lined up to park our luggage inside the house already started doing their jobs.
Theodore excused himself before leaving my side to speak to the butler. I watched them as they exchanged a few hushed words, and Theodore's stern expression gave way to a quick nod. From the way he spoke to the butler, I knew he held an important position in the house.
After their short conversation, Theodore walked back to me. He stopped a few feet away from me before saying, "Miss Abigail, Reynolds over there will tend to you. I have something to take care of."
Nodding softly, I watched him being replaced by Reynolds who now stood in front of me. I studied his face which looked like he was in his late forties.
Just like Wadsworth, his professionalism was reflected in his composure - straight posture, dull eyes, and no-fun personality. He really is no different from Wadsworth.
