SECRETS REVEALED

Alfred was standing at the door and a lot of questions were racing through my obscure mind. He walked in.''I'm really sorry about earlier and about my new friend we are just friends,''he said with a sincere voice.Did I care? not really we weren't a couple in the first place but it was quite relieving that they were not together.A broad smile formed on my face.Alfred received a phone call he smiled back and walked away.I called Becky to ask if she had any information on why Jay and Alfred always went to the woods at night.That maybe explained why Alfred received a  mysterious call and walked away.Becky suggested that we follow them tonight though I knew it was risky I wanted to get some information on all of this so I accepted.I came up with a better idea. We would get there first and wait for them.''What was I thinking what if there were wolves or other dangerous creatures I was supposed to be the one who made better decisions but as much as I was consumed with fear and doubt I wanted to find out what was going on.After arriving we heard some voices which must have been Alfred and his loyal sidekick Jay. 

         We had to get closer to hear their conversation.''We need to find evidence on who killed my father,''Alfred said with a low voice.Both Becky and I were very confused what happened we needed more answers but not now we they were coming towards our direction we both didn't know If Alfred was dangerous or was he also looking for answers.Did I care?I guess so recently I had seen the good side of Alfred.Just as we were about to leave Alfred spotted us we tried to hide but our attempt was futile. We decided to come clean we confessed that we had overheard their conversation.Alfred looked a bit shaken as if he wanted no one on this planet to find out about his secret but we did.He told us about his father and how he was kidnapped five years ago the investigation never went on.Most of the detectives said that they saw unusual creatures in the forest and the investigation wasn't safe.

I practically couldn't believe this did ghosts exist or was it zombies or mutants. Becky and I offered to help.This was so cool being a detective and the adventures that lay ahead.Alfred looked at me with the this is a serious situation look.We decided to go back and take some rest but the thought was still in my head Elsa captures the most feared mutant  or was it a ghost that was yet to be known.I literally had forgotten about the art results it was to be announced tomorrow what if I won the competition that meant I would move.I wasn't sure if I was ready to go away this was my dream was I  going to let it just pass.The great artist convention was in Japan.Anyway I was to find that out tomorrow. The convention was  in two months that would give me time to decide whether I was going or not and I was also sure my father wasn't going to support me so yeah I was alone in this journey and that sucked a lot.The bright sun was welcoming the new day I took a warm shower and was ready for new day Fridays just had a specific glow and the morning air was just fresh.

                      A lot of people were gathered at the notice board  I felt a bit shivery  I walked slowly towards the board  most of the people looked excited and some really disappointed  looking at the board I saw my name at first place Elsa Peterson.I looked at Emmy with the in your face look not trying to brag. Emmy's face showed her immense anger.Yes  I did it was my words.This feeling was so nice but the the bitter truth hit heard I was to go to Japan did I really want this.I promised to help Alfred and would I just leave Becky behind.I decided I wouldn't say a word to both of them.'' This is not the last of me ,''Emmy said with bitterness as if she wanted to to tear me apart into little pieces. I walked for a while I never knew how hard making decisions would be. Lost in thoughts I didn't notice Alfred walking upto me. "Are you okay?he said with a concerned tone." Humm kind of. Another lie I had to get all this lying under control. I couldn't help but smile at him he was the one person in my life I wouldn't want to lose. After a moment of silence we decided to take a stroll.Time really went fast  I forgot that I had evening music classes.''I need to go,'' I told Alfred impatiently. Classes were ongoing and I can't deny that I was really late I didn't even notice we had a new music instructor.She wasn't pleased to see me that late.As usual new teachers tend to keep a low profile for a while but I was sure that this would be a problem for me in the long run.I sat slowly trying to look as polite as ever.All through the lesson the instructor gave me the I'm watching you look.Okay maybe being late was that bad but I had more important things to think of the art club said that those who won the contest should apply for their visa.I had not made up my mind yet.''Are you listening?The instructor asked me.Sure I answered knowing very well that it was a lie.She looked aside and continued teaching all this thinking made me remember Abraham and Michael.

                         I was sure Michael was still a trouble maker and Abraham quiet reserved.The semester was ending in a few weeks.I started to feel home sick just remembering mom's pie.We had just moved to California a few months ago and I had already gotten used to the place though it was not easy at fast I wasn't sure if I was ready  to move again.
