Chapter 12 CHAPTER

　　I don’t understand what he was trying to say so I came closer but a man with a knife attacks me from behind. Oh great! The wound on my neck was still fresh and here I am again in this kind of situation.

　　I tried to dodge the knife but the man is too strong and his grip on my neck tightened causing the wound to blood-dripped.

　　“Do you know what this boss did to me and to my family huh?” the man’s voice behind me was full of hatred against the boss.

　　“I don’t know but please let the law works for it.” I tried to convince him but he just tightened his grip on my neck.

　　“Law? There’s no law for people like me!” Tears began to fall from his eyes.

　　“Please listen to me, sir!”

　　“No!” He released me and run towards the boss who was tied up on the bed. Just as he was to stab him, the door suddenly opened. The guy who entered the room widened his eyes and immediately run towards the man and kicks him on the face.

　　In a blink, he disarms the man. The culprit twisted the guy’s leg but he quickly kicks him aside. While they were fighting, I run to G-dragon and removed the cloth from his mouth before I untied him from the bed. Then I pulled out my phone on my side pocket to call the police.

　　“Jungkook stop it!” I heard G-dragon shouted on the man who keeps on punching the culprit’s face who is now unconscious.

　　But the Jungkook guy didn’t stop. “Why would I? He almost killed you! I’ll kill him too!” He shouted to his father.

　　“No! Not here son!” My eyes widened at his statement. I turn to look at him and he looks anxious and restless. “I mean, don’t do that! It’s bad to kill people!”

　　“What?!” Jungkook was confused and he continued beating the man.

　　“Excuse me Sir!” I run to them and stopped Jungkook. “Can you please let him go! I already called the police!”

　　Jungkook glared at me. “What made you think that I’ll let him go just like that! And what kind of security do you have in this hospital huh?!”

　　My body flinched with just how loud he shouted at me. “I’m sorry Sir, I promise that this won’t happen again.”

　　“You better be! Or kill you all!”

　　“Jungkook!” G-dragon warned him once again.

　　I ignored them yelling at each other. I bend down and check the man lying unconscious on the floor when the door suddenly opened revealing Dr. Jun.

　　“Dr. Aera what happened? The police are here.” Dr. Jun looked surprised with what he just witnessed.

　　“This man tried to kill Mr. Kwon.” I tried to explain him everything.

　　When the man returned his consciousness, he was already handcuffed and dragged away by police officers. After checking G-Dragon and made sure that he’s alright, I stepped outside his room with Dr. Jun.

　　Thankfully, his son was gone.He’s handsome but kinda scary. He really can’t control his rage and it looks like killing people was his hobby.

　　Jun treated my wound and gave me a ride back home. “Thank you so much Dr. Jun. You want to have coffee first?” I asked him.

　　“I would love to.” He answered .

　　My keys jingled as I unlock my apartment when the door beside me swung open. And there was Officer Jeon staring badly at me and Dr. Jun.

　　There were a few seconds of extremely awkward silence as we both stared at each other when I heard Dr. Jun cleared his throat. “Dr. Jun let’s get inside?”

　　I opened the door wide and shut it close after we both entered inside. I walked to the kitchen turning on the coffee pot and make 2 cups of coffee.

　　“Here you go!” I handed him his cup of coffee and placed mine on the table.

　　“Oh thank you!” He takes a sip of his coffee and looked at me. “It tastes great! So, tell me Dr. Aera, do you live here alone?”

　　“Yeah! I love it here Dr. Jun. This place is nice and it’s peaceful.” I tried not to mention about the incident that happened last night in the restaurant.

　　“Okay, then tell me what happened to your neck?”

　　“Well, I-I was having a dinner in one of the restaurants near here when some bad guys attacked me. Thankfully Officer Jeon was also there and his friend to save me.”

　　“You mean the Officer outside?”

　　“Yes.” I answered him as I take my coffee from the table.

　　He eyed me suspiciously then smirked. “It’s great you have an officer neighbour. At least you can call him anytime if you gets in trouble.”

　　“Yes definitely. How about you? Is your place near here?” I asked him back.

　　“I just live in Gangnam, less than an hour away from you.” I almost spit out my coffee when I heard what he just asked me next. "So, are you single Dr. Aera?”

　　I tried to compose myself and answers him truthfully. “Well, I…have an imaginary boyfriend. I met him 12 years ago.”

　　Dr. Jun clearly surprised.“Oh really? Where is he now?”

　　“I am still looking for him. He saved me when I was 10, and that makes me fell inlove with him until now.”

　　I heard him sigh heavily and chuckled. “I think it’s hard to compete with someone I didn’t know and never seen. Your love for him is extraordinary I guess.”

　　“Aren’t you and Jennie a thing?”

　　“No! Definitely not!” he exclaimed.

　　“Why? She’s beautiful though…”

　　He laugh out loud. I really love how Jun laugh. “She’s just a friend and Dr. Josh likes him so, end of story!”

　　“Oh okay.” I know what he meant. Dr. Josh is also his friend and I know he doesn’t want to hurt his feelings because of a girl. Such a good friend.

　　He suddenly stood up when he finished his coffee. “It was nice talking to you Dr. Aera but I think I have to go so that you can take a rest.”

　　“Okay Dr. Jun, thank you for dropping me.” I walked with him to the front door and before he walks away, he gave me a quick peck on the cheek.

　　I waved goodbye as he headed to the elevator. I was about to shut the door when a big hand stopped it from getting close.
