Amby slowed down and fell to the floor, panting loudly. They had covered some distance, far away from the apartment.
"Let's take a breath here." Luther said and brought out his phone. Checking it, he scowled seeing no receptor.
How would they be able to get a car to take them far away?
"We will have to find a way out of here." he sat down beside her, leaning back on the tree for support.
"Ramin must have hold them off for so long. I hope he is alright." She muttered, looking up to the sky.
"He would be. He isn't human after all, or is he?" He lowered his gaze, not knowing what to address him anymore.
"Shouldn't you be curious about everything going on?"
He nodded, "I am. Infact, I have so many questions. Who those people are and why they are after you. But, now is not the right time. Getting you to safety first should be the top priority. That man is fighting with his life to protect you and I must do the same."
