Realizing there were faint footsteps behind, Rong Heng turned around and saw the newcomer, slightly startled. A hint of a smile formed on his lips, with a trace of puzzlement in his eyes, "Miss Ji."
Mingshu approached and stopped two steps away from him, nodding slightly, "Hero Rong."
Rong Heng chuckled, "Where am I a hero? Miss, you flatter me. Just call me Rong Heng."
Mingshu thought to herself that she wouldn't dare to address him by name. She considered for a moment, "Young Master Rong, what are your plans from here?"
Rong Heng raised an eyebrow slightly, surprise flashing in his eyes. After pondering for a while, he said truthfully, "We plan to go to Shengjing. It's bustling there. With hands and feet, we shouldn't starve to death, right?"
As he said this, a self-mocking smile curled on his lips.
Mingshu's heart tightened. She remembered that in the original story, the male lead shouldn't have gone to Shengjing yet.
