What am I going to do? I can’t leave until they find Ahmed, yet I can’t stay here with Bull chasing me. If I stay I’ll let him catch me and I’ll be stuck in a loveless relationship until he decides to boot me out. I’m going to go to sleep; I can’t bear to think about this anymore tonight. 12

Jamie wasn’t the only one having a restless night. Bull, in trying to seduce Jamie, was attempting to have the man he wanted without having to commit to him in any way. He knew it was wrong, he knew he was beginning to like Jamie too much, and that made him angry. He didn’t want to end up the way he did with Tommy. There’s going to be a party tomorrow night at Indiscreet. Maybe he could talk Jamie into going by saying that he didn’t want to drive home twice.
