Glass manufacturing plant (3

"I love the cool breeze of Pollow district. The air, the weather, the chillness, the environment, the greenery and the nature sounds of both wildlife and the river gives me the desire of coming to Pollow often. I didn't just come here for constructing this glass factory, I also came here with the intention of taking Tanya and I to a vacation, she deserves better, right?" Virtya asked Tanya. As usual, it was cold in the morning in this part of Pollow but fortunately, there was no mist on this particular day. Virtya was wearing an overcoat over his black suit, a top hat and black boots.

On the other hand, Tanya was only wearing a black trousers and a leather coat over her yellow shirt and it was only Alexander who was wearing a black cargo pant and a yellow hood while Bogdan was in a black suit and the knights following them wore armour.

"Is that the nice view and the sounds that you are talking about?" Tanya asked Virtya with a disoriented look plastered on her face while she pointed at the chimney of the cement plant.

Because Virtya had not installed scrubbers in the chimney of the cement plant, hulking rings of smoke could be seen coming from its chimneys before escaping into the sky and from time to time, an unpleasant and annoying high-pitched sound could be heard coming from the cement plant.

"It's not that." Virtya perked up his ears and clearly, he could hear it. This part of Pollow was not the same as it used to be, the annoying sounds coming from the cement plant had managed to muffle the sound of nature and it was no longer a pleasure for one to enjoy walking around here.

"I'll have to fix that in the future." Virtya said to Tanya. Right now, Virtya didn't have the technology to make scrubbers and therefore, he could do nothing to rectify this problem of air pollution.

Virtya's cohort walked for a long distance in the valley until Virtya became tired and asked for the horses to carry them directly to the cement plant so that he could inspect where he would be erecting the glass manufacturing plant.

The horses were fine running on the swampy terrain and quickly, they crossed the old bridge and climbed the steep terrain before their reached at the cement plant.

While on his way, Virtya had seen the workers pushing the heavy wagons across the steep terrain which just made him wish that the bridge would have already been built so that it could ease the movement between the East and West part of the valley.

Hail your majesty! Hail your majesty!

The workers stopped and went down on one knee while moving aside so that Virtya's cohort could be given room to pass by.

[What is Virtya doing here?]

[Maybe he has come here to check how the cement plant is doing. After all, it has been a long time since he left this place.]

[No! You guys don't know a thing. His Majesty is here for another project. I don't know what stuff he is going to build buy it will just be like this cement plant.]

[I wish to be among the people who will be selected to build what Virtya has come to build this time round. My drawings and the descriptions of the cement plant was a success and that witch really loved it. If I can sent the design of this new project to her, maybe she will award me handsomely or keep me in her good side. I can't help.]

[Unfortunately for you, the workers who will be working on this new project have already been selected, therefore. I think you have missed this chance. Apparenty, it was last week when that shitty bastard recorded the people who will be working on something new and you are among the people who refused to be recorded for this new work... Even if that bastard didn't tell us what those workers were going to do, logically, I can't think of anything else other than building this new structure.]

[Damn! Damnit! I thought the registered labourers were going to be taken to work on those tall building blocks that are being constructed. You know that I am afraid of heights and I really can't work there. That's pure torture. It's better to push these wagons than work on those buildings. I can assure you that if you fall from that 16th floor to the ground, you will definitely die, there is no mistaking it.]
