/Kara's P.O.V/

I stood there, my mind not letting my body move. His blue eyes sparkling with what was amusement.

How is he still this gorgeous?!

"This is a mistake," I finally manage to say to him.

"Just like how your face was created? " he responded making my jaw instantly drop.

"No, just like you being birthed," I quickly countered. Now his jaw was dropped. As his friend snorted.

I get a hold of my suitcase and walked out of the room.

" I can't deal with this idiot," I muttered to myself as I got into the elevator.

"I'd like to switch houses please," I told the secretary.

"Sorry, I can't do that. Everyone has been assigned their own houses and-" She started but I interrupted her.

"I can't stay there! There's an evil mad person in there too!" I exclaimed and she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"I wish I could help you, " she said and a call cane through the landline and she picked up diverting her attention from me.

I sighed and started making my way back to.....hell.

Oh mom and dad are going to so pay for this! And pay with interest!

But hey! Maybe leaving with Mace won't be so bad.

Who am I kidding?

Its going to be worse!!

I reach the room again, this time Mace was at the door. He smirked as he saw me from a far.

"Look at who came crawling back," he scoffed.

"Stay away from me Chrisantos. I mean it," I told him through gritted teeth and opened the door.

"Or else what?" I felt a hand snake round my waist and pull me back. Instinctively, I let go if my suitcase and turn around only to meet with Mace's face just inches away.

Familiar ground. Only this time I'm not about to make out with him.

"Or else I'm going to use your windpipe as a crazy straw," I whispered and walked away.

"Your room is the one on the left side of the house! " I heard him call out.

Why does this have to happen now?!

I walked to the only room on the left side of the house and opened the door. It was beautiful.

There were magenta coloured curtains hanging from the window. The curtains were drawn.

The room had a nice view of the camp. I could see the basketball court, the football field, a swimming pool....

There was a white lamp stand beside the mahogany bed which had pink bedsheets on it. The colour of the wall was beige and there was a cream-ish coloured dressing table. Across it was a door, that I believe leads to the bathroom.

Maybe if I spend most of my time in here I might minimize the interactions with Mace.

I sighed and started unpacking.

Once I was done, I sat on the bed and started scrolling through my phone. I had received over a guns texts from Madi trying to explain herself and so far Cole stopped contacting me after Tristan gave him a 'surprise' visit.

I wish he could do the same for Mace though.
