Su Mi kept a small delicate smile on her face but her glittering eyes made Dong Mu feel as if she could see through his soul. As Su Mi became embarrassed after seeing the people in her small chamber, her action became flustered. Looking at her embarrassed look he unknowingly sent all his men out with his personal guard which he never did before.
Hiding her small sniffles she said in slow soft voice " your highness, you certainly know what happened to my father and I received nothing from him but a life of servitude in this hell, I searched everywhere for things to please you in this small place but nothing could be compared to your magnificent aura, you are like a divine person and costliest silk was nothing but poor jute in front of you. All fragrances of this world could not enlighten the atmosphere like you do, how could I present those to you and flowers they die in those few days how could I dare to show them in front of you. So, I can give myself completely to you".
While Su Mi was speaking to Dong Mu, he slowly came out of the haze that he felt before as he became normal he walked to the table picked a small grape and smiled " what makes you think I can't own you if I want to. You are no more than a grain of sand in front of me which I can turn to ashes any time".
Su Mi was waiting to understand the depth of Dong Mu's mental powers all this time, all the banter was for her to bring his mental guards down. Every human was born with some mental guards but with time a person unknowingly weakens or strengthen his. Like Lin Hua was a person always in servitude to rich powerful people so Su Mi could manipulate and control her easily for long time as for Dong Mu, he lived and survived in palace for long time. So, his guards were up and difficult to break unless manipulated subtly giving him illusion that he was powerful was the easiest way to do so.
But even manipulated he can't be controlled for long time. So, she used mental manipulation slowly easing him in and when strong effect needed she used her power at once. It was like a game where she needed to give an idea to him and make him believe he thought of that.
When she found out she can have control over him though with efforts she relaxed and cleared the tears on her face and said confidently " then, why don't I make myself useful to you, your highness. Since many years you are attending this brothel and every month you come here twice and each time the women went missing here and never to be called back again. This simply means you have something to hide and may be I can become your perfect excuse for that. I am willing to bring your secrets to my grave".
Dong Mu raised his eyebrows in interest with what Su Mi said it means she researched about him. Which made him interested and also deepen his suspicions for her. He smirked " but how could I trust you. what I have learnt all those years are to never trust a women's heart they are all black as the pit of hell".
Su Mi gave him confident smile, though this time there was something different to her tone, crown prince found it hypnotising and as if he was immersed in the frozen lake he could not move free " your highness, I can't survive without strong support and I can be your eyes and ears with the secret keeper that you want me to be. I have everything to lose and you have nothing but gains. Will you give me a chance".
Dong Mu could feel something was different but as if someone sang him a lullaby he felt the haze and accepted her by nodding his head. Su Mi expertly eased her manipulation and brought him out. They spent some time in discussions and Su MI's trick remained unnoticed to him. After a while, it was decided that he will come to Su MI's room as a show to the king twice a month, while being Crown prince's preferred courtesan she would be given privileges here and no one could easily call for her to play and please including Go Dong Mae.
That night Dong Mu felt sleepy and quickly slept on the bed of Su Mi while she stayed awake thinking of securing her future and planning ahead.
