JOB SECURED

We have been waiting for an hour now and still there is no sign of Lisa and Bella.

"Ken will you call them already am dying to see Lisa's new look that I can't keep my butt on my seat and also what do you think, I look handsome right " mark asked for the sixth time since we started waiting for Lisa and Bella.

"Mark I already told you I have called and texted them and yet there is no reply and for your new look almost all the hair stylist have said they gave you the best or do you want when girls start drooling over you before you believe that " I replied.

"Yes I like that drooling part, but easy for you to say is because you always look good in anything you wear or in any look you want "

"Oh my God mark don't you ever get tired of talking "I asked

"Nope you know I don't, I love voicing out my opinion on like you that is always calm like nothing can break you " he said again this time I only let out a sigh.

"See what am saying, learn how to say what's on your mind "

"Oh mark please stop talking "I pleaded with him.

"Fine who wants to talk to you anyways " he said as he received a call and excused himself to answer it.

After he left I saw two ladies heading my way it took me a while to recognize them.

Lisa cut her hair shot and dyed it red mixed with a little black while Bella dyed her hair pink and black but still maintained the length.

And her blue eyes was replaced by a brown one but she was still looking beautiful with that look.

"Oh my God, ken where is Lisa and Bella because I don't think I know this strangers in front of me " mark said behind my ears.

"Mark quit talking inside my ears because I can properly hear you if you speak normal "I said to mark who left me and walk up to Lisa and Bella.

"Milady you look so beautiful " mark said offering Lisa his hands before he turn to Bella and whispered something in her ears before he winked at me and left with Lisa.

"You look beautiful, I most confess I like your new look " I said to Bella

"Thanks mark but I miss my old look already and you are not looking bad either I bet you are going to break a neck when we enter the interview " she said with a small smile .

"Since I did not break your neck I don't think I will be breaking any other neck then, don't you think "

"Nope I don't think, come on do you know how this is going to benefits us today maybe our interviewer might be a female just give her a wink and a smile and our job is secured "she said with a teasing smile.

"Wow I did not know you can crack a joke as that, you know you should smile more often it suits you more " I said to her before we headed to Mr Smiths office for our fake ID cards.

I don't know what happened but just like Bella said we have a young woman in front of us as our interviewer and she keep staring at me like am some appetizer she has been longing to have.

"So are you single Mr handsome "she said and winked at me.

Oh God now she is licking her lips, I look at Bella asking for help but she smiled and whispered in my ears " just do as I say okay "

Finally the interview was over tomorrow we will be coming back for the skill interview.

"Hey can I have your number or your card instead " said the lady from the interview.

"Am so sorry but my girlfriend is monitoring my every move and giving you my number is going to cause a problem if she finds out "I tried making an excuse for myself.

"Okay here is my card call me when she is not monitoring you okay "she said before she left.

I put the card in pocket and walked up to Bella who was standing beside our car waiting for me.

"You do know we are suppose to be partners and that means we help each other out in everything that lady nearly killed me with the way she was staring at me and also a while ago" I complained

"So what do you want me to do partner, kick her and tell her to stay out that I don't share you with anyone "she asked looking directly at my eyes.

"Never mind, so where are we heading "

"Uncle said he already booked a room for us at the nearest hotel so that's where we are heading and I have texted Lisa the address they will be meeting us there, so let's go " she said.

"Wait I will drive "she added

"No I will I want to take you somewhere, will you come with me " I asked hoping she will say yes

"To where "she asked

"Just seat tight " we left immediately and I started heading to the clinic .

"Why are we at the clinic "she asked

Instead of replying her I took her inside so we could see a doctor.

"I think she has fever " I said to the doctor.

"Since when"asked the doctor

"This morning doctor "I replied

"Ken what the heck is going on here"she asked looking confused

"I kind of saw you this morning when you were jogging under the rain and that got me worried so I wanted to make sure you are fine "

"Aren't you suppose to be asking me if am fine or not and am leaving, thanks for your concern but am fine" she said with a frowned face before she left.

"Please doctor give me some minutes" I want after her immediately.

"Hey please just let the doctor run a check up on you, at least so Lisa won't get worried about you "

I stared at him for a while, so he saw me in the rain this morning I just hope he did not mention this to Lisa or she will freak out.

"Did you mention this to Lisa "I asked hoping to get a no as my answer

"No I did not "he simple replied

"Okay, but please don't mention this to her she will get worried.

"I won't but at least let the doctor run a test just to be sure you are fine " he said again I wonder why he cares

"Fine let's get this over with "I said as we both went back to the clinic .
