Hungry

"I'm fine." I said, trying to reassure him. He didn't look like he believed me. I looked back out the window and thought of the past, the present, the future...

Only then did I smile. Like would be so much greater if I still had you. I can't wait to be reunited with you.

"What are you looking at?" He looked curiously out the window. My eyes automatically unfocused when staring out the glass pane. I focused them now. My eyes landed on the line made where the land touches the sky. A symbol representing how death touches life. To take and make new.

"Nothing." I respond for I know you would never understand.

"Okay." He replied. I looked back over at Jun to see him smiling as well. I'm not the best actor but at least he'll be off my tail for a little while.
