Actions Speak Louder Than Words

"I'm fine," he told me thought he continued to gaze sadly at nothing.

"What are you looking at?"

"Nothing." I knew I needed to get him to talk but he looks so calm. It's frightening.

"Okay" I tell him and for a moment he smiled. I'll let it go for now.
