INTRO

Alexa's heart melted when she saw Alek, he looked exactly like his father, from the skin to the face but his eyes, which were a mixture between his father's and his mother's gene. His hair was just like his mother's, a mixture of white, aquamarine, ice blue and royal blue.

He laughed when Alexa picked him up and she kept throwing him up and catching him.

He then looked away as the excitement was overwhelming him and Alexa realized a strong wind started circling her with a current of clear, twirling water through it.

Immediately Alek stopped laughing and closed his eyes.

Alexa became scared as his breathing slowed down and his face turned pale.

She called for help and my mom and I rushed in.

We saw him then my mom hugged him.

I asked Alexa what had happened and she told me she was just playing with him when wind and water started circling her.

I then said,"He isn't at that level yet, he was emotional."

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt him."Alexa said.

I placed my hand on her shoulder then said,"Don't worry, it's not your fault."

We... my mom had Lilith restore Alek's energy.

I didn't know why Lilith was acting strange around Apollo and me now.

Alexa was crying alone in the forest in the camp.

She heard some leaves rustling and looked back to see Curtis.

She frowned then asked what he wanted.

He sat beside her and she shifted a little.

He looked at her and said,"I come in peace, I just saw you walking this way and thought you were going to leak information to your alien allies when I saw you crying, what happened?"

"Mind your bee's wax and also, the reason I went somewhere private to cry is that I didn't want anyone near me, especially you."She said.

He shrugged then stood up and opened a portal.

He was about to leave when she called,"Wait, please."

He arched a brow as she called him back.

She then said,"I'm sorry, I thought you'd use what I say to have the government remove me from my position as principal but...I almost killed my brother today."

"What?"He asked, concerned.

"I don't know, he had already activated his light when he was born and I was playing with him when...when he..."

She burst into tears when he hugged her and stroked her hair while saying it would be alright. He then asked her to finish the story.

When she did, he said,"You did nothing wrong other than try to be a loving sister, it was just by chance, don't beat yourself up about it."

She smiled and wiped her tears then said,"Thank you."

"Anytime, other than when we are in the camp because I have a reputation to uphold, but then, anytime."

She smiled and placed her head on his shoulder then they looked at the two birds which were dancing together as part of their mating ritual.

Sweat was dripping down my face as if water had just been poured all over me, I was breathing heavily and looked at my opponent.

Alexa took the queen to the next stage of the 3D chessboard and I knew I was done for.

She then asked,"So should I say it or you're going to do it first?"

I yelled then knocked the board over.

She smiled to herself and said,"Everytime, I'm starting to crave better competition than you."

I frowned at her then said,"Another game."

"Okay, same rules, mind reading, body controlling and all lights and referring to the internet for backup is allowed on your side, but not mine."

She had a certain strategy I could never beat, she played without thinking like she had already memorized what she was going to do and it came naturally, but that was impossible since there were literally infinite outcomes from the upgraded version of the already brain storming game.

Unless, she looked in the future, she couldn't, wait, what if she could?

I smiled at her then vanished.

She started filing her nails while waiting for me then when I reappeared, she looked back at me then I made my first move after using wind to rearrange the scattered chess pieces back in their diverse positions.

She also made a move and we played for about twenty minutes, mostly because she was taking longer than usual to make decisions, much longer and I knew exactly why.

She then looked at me surprised then asked,"Wow, you might actually win this one, but how?"

I grinned widely then said,"You said I could use lights in any way I needed but you didn't specify whose."

She smiled then said,"You used Apollo didn't you?"

"Use is a strong word, I'd prefer bribed."

"Oh wow, well, little old me just has to say checkmate."

"That's not possible."

"I moved while you were distracted, check it out."

"But you can't win! I made Apollo imagine you lost in this round."

"The thing about reality is that it always tries to fix itself after it has been messed with and if you leave even the slightest opportunity, it will snap back, you got distracted and gave me a chance."

My jaw was on the floor then I yelled and tried to throw over the multi dimensional board but a powerful force tried to hold me back, I strived till I was able to overcome it then threw over the table then yelled,"Ha!"

I realized the grim smile on Alexa's face then rolled my eyes and said,"You don't have to rub it in."

"I can't, because I lied."

"What?"

"Real Deals have total control over reality just like all other lights, that great force you had to overcome was Apollo's light trying to make reality obey him, but you just changed it so you lost, yet again."

I yelled angrily then looked into her eyes with a serious expression, right before going on my knees and begging her to teach me the ways, she stood up and said,"My days of teaching are over."

"No please!"

I grabbed onto her leg tightly and kept begging me as she tried to push me off then Lilith came and saw us.

She blinked several times as I yelled,"This isn't what it looks like."

"Lilith, they say lay off the candy apples, but do you? No you don't!"Lilith scolded herself as she walked away.

I kept begging my little sister to teach me till she agreed, just to get rid of me.
