CHAPTER 2

Elsa went to college the next day and met with her best friend, Effie.

They had the same lectures and sat by each other side. They were having a chemistry class together.

"Things aren't looking that good," Elsa said, scribbling on her book.

"What do you mean?" Effie asked, confused.

"My sister wants to marry a guy on my behalf," Elsa said, dropping her pen worried.

"Seriously?" Effie asked.

Elsa nodded.

"I thought you said your sister is suspicious; she doesn't sound suspicious to me," Effie said.

"I have a feeling she is trying to keep me under her grasp since the incident between our parents," Elsa said.

"You are paranoid," Effie said, sending a document to Elsa's laptop.

"I'm serious, and what with the document?" Elsa asked.

"You're not paying attention to class; that will help," Effie said.

"Thanks." Elsa smiled.

Elsa cleared all the distracting thoughts in her mind, fully concentrating on the class, but her mind refused clarification.

After chemistry class, she went to her other classes and had a break in between.

Elsa felt like she needed a place to keep her mind at work; thank God she had Effie and James with her, thinking about James; last night, she was ready to forsake him; the thought of it made her feel bad.

Elsa sighed and thought about her sister.

*Am I being paranoid about my sister; what made me think of her as a bad person; hasn't she been trying to help me since I was little? *

"What is wrong with me?" Elsa sighed.

Elsa went home once the day was over; her sister was surprisingly early, and the whole family was in the living room; she could feel the tension in the air.

"What is happening?" Elsa asked, clearly uncomfortable. She sat beside her sister since she felt more comfortable with her than the rest.

"That bastard said he needs an answer in two days." Roxy gritted her teeth.

*An answer that fast, oh my gosh, what should we do? * Elsa's mind was in chaos

"He is putting us in a tight spot," Roxy said.

"Jessica, that plan of yours..." Her dad said.

"What plan?" Her mom asked the same thoughts that were running through Elsa's mind.

"Let me explain," Roxy said.

"So, here's the plan," Roxy began.

"I'll swap identities with Elsa and marry that bastard; Elsa will have to adopt my fierce personality. Meanwhile, I'll adopt her shy personality; I'm guessing the guy must be a secret admirer."

Her mother and Elsa looked at her in shock while her father sighed.

"What do you mean, swap identities?" Her mother asked.

"What do you think I mean by that? I'll pretend to be my sister, and my sister will pretend to be me; as for her school life, it will continue; I would get to school early and swap clothes with her in the bathroom." Roxy sneered.

"Why would you do such a thing?" Elsa asked, clearly confused.

"I'm trying to help you; marrying a stranger isn't bad," Roxy said.

"The problem is that we don't know the guy; Dad doesn't know; he said there is someone who performs his duties," Roxy said.

"Roxy, don't do this." Elsa pleaded.

"It has been decided I want you to experience all the things I couldn't." Roxy warmly smiled.

They were still hesitant about the plan, but Roxy was determined to go with it.

After much discussion and convincing, they finally agreed with a heavy heart.

"Inform them tomorrow about your answer. If they inform you about anything, report back, and don't keep anything to yourself'" Roxy said.

Elsa lay on her bed, tossing around, unable to sleep as her mind weighed her down.

*How could I think of such things? see how ready she was to sacrifice her future for my happiness* A silent tear fell on her cheeks.

Roxy turned on the shower; as Roxy stood under the warm stream, her soft black hair shone like a starry night sky against her smooth, oval face. Her body, with its perfect balance of curves and slimness, is a work of art that catches the eye.

She could pull out any look; she had considered being a model but decided against it; she is okay with being with her current work.

It seems like an opportunity came her way, and she needs to grab it after all, *opportunity comes but once*.

*People wonder why Elsa and I look alike even when there is a difference*

*Elsa's hair is slightly thicker, and her body is flatter than mine. She may not possess the same level of glamour as me, but there is a strength in her petite frame. Her unique beauty shines subtly, like a delicate flower waiting to bloom. Both of us are stunning in our own way, each with our strengths and charms, making us the perfect complement for each other. *

Roxy got out of the shower, wrapped her body and hair in a towel, and sat in front of her mirror to care for her skin. After she finished, she put on her nightgown and went to sleep, thinking of how to fool the man she was to marry.

Roxy and her team were in a frenzy at the workshop, tirelessly working to fulfill the demand for their remaining seven hundred pieces of jewelry and two hundred bottles of perfume. As the deadline loomed, the pressure continued to mount, taking its toll on Roxy. She had been working non-stop the past few days, barely taking any breaks or rest. The once organized and tidy workshop was now a chaotic mess, with unfinished items and scattered perfume bottles everywhere. Despite feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, Roxy knew she couldn't slow down.

As the hours dragged on, Roxy pushed herself to keep going, determined to complete the remaining orders. She barely had a moment to catch her breath as time flew by. However, no matter how hard she worked, the pile of unfinished items and bottles never seemed to decrease.

Feeling drained and hungry, Roxy decided to take a break and grab a bite to eat at a nearby cafe. She needed a change of scenery and some fresh air to clear her mind. As she strolled through the charming streets and bustling crowds, she couldn't help but admire the city.

The cafe provided a much-needed respite from the chaos of the workshop. Roxy ordered a sandwich and a cup of coffee, taking a moment to relax and enjoy her meal. As she ate, she felt the stress slowly fading away, allowing her to unwind.

However, Roxy knew she couldn't stay for too long. She had to get back to the workshop and finish the remaining orders. After quickly finishing her meal, she returned with energy and determination.
