Odette's voice was frighteningly cold. Eric had never heard her voice this cold before. "It is not that I don't trust you. It's just that I don't want you to get hurt for me." Eric wanted to say this but his voice could not come out of his throat. After Odette finished speaking, she left without looking back.

Eric looked at her back, "I never thought that this wheelchair would become a gap between me and Odette. I thought about telling Odette many times before. But every time I saw her taking care of me so meticulously, I couldn't bear it. I just feel happy seeing her fighting for me. But I just didn't that this lie would create a hole in our relationship."
