"Nakee?" Versailles stared at the green-clad female in disbelief.
The Snake Queen in the Underworld Palace?
"You...what are you doing here? How did you get here?"
In the face of Versailles's shock, Queen Nakee had a faint smile on her face. Her eyes flickered to the Werewolf King. But the wolf had his head buried on his mate's shoulder.
She withdrew her sight and focused back on Versailles.
"You didn't hear it yet? I'm the new alpha's mate and we entered the Underworld Palace together. I heard Kulimo and the Werewolf King's meeting was over and came out to find him. But I didn't expect to bump into you." She gave a light chuckle and walked to the two of them.
"This...you're alpha Kulimo's mate?"
Nakee and Kulimo? How did that happen?
Versailles found the whole situation surreal. Her best friend was in the Underworld Palace and she was the mate of alpha Kulimo?
