The Territory
In one swoop, Dav swept me off the floor without waiting for me to agree to his words. By himself, he placed my hands around his neck but I didn't bother to bury my face in his chest like he had suggested.
I wanted to see the route to the so-called Gretha. I wanted to know how they managed to hide a space in the human territory and the humans didn't detect it. I am a human and I know what they are capable of doing. It's close to impossible to hide a foreign area in the territory without their knowledge, at least, not when they are heavily blessed with technology that could easily detect such things.
"Hold on tight, wife, you should bury your face in my chest." He said
My face immediately went sour, Dav was never the kind of vamp that repeated his words except when necessary. This made my mind drift to something abnormal. Was Dav trying to prevent me from knowing the route? Does he fear that I might expose it to humans?
