Me, I was the 'lucky' but I'd rather say the unlucky lady that had put her husband to sleep.
Wordless, they all drew this attention to me and that was enough for the Nightfangs to realize that it was me.
Slowly, the lady walked closer to me, she had a huge grin on her face, as if planning to do something that I wouldn't like. I didn't even realize when I moved back but she kept coming closer until her loud voice echoed in the room.
"Stop!" She yelled.
With a frightened body, I stopped at my feet which made her close the distance between us.
Good Lord, I was terrified. The lady was a lot taller than me, giving me the vibes of death as she stared down at me. What in tarnation was she planning to do?
The next second, she did the most unexpected thing. She brought her hand to disorganized hair and began to arrange them. When I turned my gaze to the other presence in the room, I realized that they were also anticipating her next action.
