Chapter 78: Jealousy

Trent scoffed, shaking his head. “You were more fun when you were working.”

“So were you.”

“I am working... or trying to!” He scoffed. “If you’ll move your car!”

“On it!” I held my hand up and headed out the door. “Have a good day, and don’t work too hard.”

“Yeah, I’ll try not to.”

I looked at my Jaguar, noticing the crooked way it was parked in his driveway. No wonder he was mad! I would have been angry, too! I had parked it kitty-corner in his driveway, blocking the whole thing. Trent couldn’t get out of his garage even if he wanted to.

Within minutes, I was on my way back home, ready to face the music with Henley.

Luckily, when I pulled up, very few paparazzi were waiting outside my gate today. They probably got tired of waiting for something to happen. Mine and Henley’s story was already old news, thank goodness.

When I pulled up, I hit the garage door opener, but Jackson came in. “I’ll take care of that. You need to go in and get some rest.”
