Henley
“You know, this could be our song.” Declan took me into his arms, giving me a sexy smile as he led me around the dancefloor.
Blush crept up my cheeks. “Oh yeah?”
He nodded, smiling. “So, what do you think?”
I shrugged, returning his smile. “It’s as good a song as any.”
He burst out laughing. “Gee. Thanks!”
She laughed. “I’m only joking. You’re so easy to tease.” I laced my fingers through his hair. “I love it. I’ve always liked this song.”
“So have I.” He pulled me close, pressing his cheek to mine, causing my heart to pound.
I was falling for him, and I couldn’t stop myself. Not only was he hot, he also had a good heart. What more could I want in a man? Besides love. Pain ripped through my chest at the realization that he didn’t love me and probably never would. But maybe he just hadn’t had enough time to fall in love with me.
