______________
"Oh! The end of me!"
Her eyes closed.
On landing, her weight splash out water from the large pool she landed, she struggle to balance while trying to figure out what just happened.
"This is thicker than water!" She screamed inwardly.
The water was up to her neck, slanting her head up and screeching aloud, "Help!" Her hands spread to keep her balance while her heart went void.
Weariness occupied her within seconds, she was still swaying when her gaze meet a man far from her, Naya paused; he seems to rest against the wall of the pool, perching her gaze more at him, the man looks calmed than someone who was also trapped in the pit.
Naya baffle with pity, for how long could he have been trapped? It seems like he has already given up.
She thoughts.
Her eyes close and open within seconds. She couldn't be seeing wrong, Is the man also a wolf?
The man narrowly gazes at her, he is more pleased, resilient, and undisturbed. This bothered Naya even more, has he given up on being saved?
Gradually, She feels her senses reviving, the texture of the liquid shows it was not water, but what? She closes her eyes again, recalling from her future memory,
What?! She shuddered.
Mercury? No! Was she trapped in a demon's cage? Mercury is harmful to the skin but it's usually used to suppress the demon's power... How can she be trapped in it?
Fears sip down her spine, she glanced astound mindless of the man's calmness, could he be the demon?
She weary.
She gazed at where she slipped down, stars and the moonlight where those that wink at her, the opening of the mountain was wide in the same size as the pool diameter.
She widens her lips stunningly; from the edge of the mountain, the liquid flows through it on the clumps of rocks down to the pool.
This is why she slipped?
But strangely enough, the pit wasn't dark. the whole place was light enough to see like the daylight.
How can this be? There is must be illuminations all over but the source, where is it? She swims to turn around.
Prowling around, she was startled in disbelief.
Wall?! The wall was the source of the light, it illuminate a fluorescent light and the brightness was sparkling against the mercury.
It stunned her, could here be a paradise, its beauty is exceptional! Yet, she can't deny she is trapped In a mountain pit that looks so beautiful.
She was still mulling when the man swim out of the pool, Naya traces him astounded, the mercury sip down from him as he climb the stairs of the pool, his body was glittering despite being a human body but sparkles like a diamond. He has a black long raven-type of hair that was packed in a ponytail.
The man turned to the pool.
In shudder, Naya gasped, she keep her gaze lower.
She tilted slightly as she could not resist her curiosity, Yes! She couldn't resist what her eyes were seeing.
Her gaze travel over the man not daring to look in his face. Somehow, she couldn't deny how she admire his broad shootout chest, tracing to his complex 10 packs abdomen, she falls her gaze down on him, a white Calico cloth wrapped around his waist, covering his thighs.
Naya fascinates, she could assume he is exceptionally handsome. Is he a demon?
A handsome demon?
Naya! What are you doing? You're trapped for goodness sake! She shook her head on hearing a whisper in her head.
The man beckons his hand at her, waving to come out.
Naya almost drown her head in the pool, she thought he did not notice her but... he does.
He knew she was staring intensely?
"Do you want to die in there?" His voice hushed softly.
Instantly, Naya swims out, she stands by the last step of the pool while the man walks toward a long flat stone.
Naya gulped for not satisfying her naughtiness enough; The man is broadly huge, and the way his long ponytail falls to reach his spine makes her fascinate the more.
Yet, his aura is extremely fearful, she could feel the shiver.
Her throat jolted.
She withdrew her gaze only to see the liquid shielding down from her cloth without wetting her body but surprisingly for her, her body glitters just like the man,
She gasped inwardly, What! Does the Mercury pool do this? She baffles.
She couldn't contend with her anxiety that she has to speak to the man, slightly nervous.
"Are you trapped here too? For how long?"
"No" The man replied almost immediately, he sat on the flat stone.
Naya seems disappointed, if he was not trapped then why is he here? "But how did you get here?" Her face is witty.
The man huff.
This shudder her, why does it sound familiar? She brainstorm, this place... It looks familiar too, has she been here before?
"I don't have to get here," The man said simply to interrupt her. He's more conforming that Naya chuckles inwardly despite being nervous. —If this man knew she is a girl, he would have freaked out but seen him relaxed in his half-naked body—
Naya wishes to play along.
Aside from that, If he found out she is not a male, she fears the man might do something dangerous to her. Her head shook negatively to not want to think about the outcome.
"Really? What does that suppose to mean?" She asked, confused. The reaction of the man shows that he has stayed there for long but how long?
While Naya await the man to reply, he was quiet instead, then, lay on the stone, his head placed on his palms facing up.
Naya seems furious by his nonchalant attitude, "What are you?!" She squealed.
Indifferent, the man huff again.
"Are you a demon? A werewolf demon?!" She yelped at him boldly.
Naya was so sure Terubial sea is werewolf's territory, no other creature can be there, even though she did not have the nostrils that distinguish the wolf's aura from other creatures, yet, she is so sure the man must have a component of a werewolf in him before having access to the sea.
Over it all, the mountain disappeared and reappear, who is he?
Naya was exhausted, perhaps she couldn't think it through and the man was acting dumb likewise.
With the grief of not answering her, she rants continuously,
"What is the Mercury pool for?!"
"What's this mountain about?!"
"How can I get out of here?!!"
