Having Fun

Naoto's POV.

After the final lecture for today ended, I packed all of my stuff and headed over to Ryuji's class.

Me, Shin and Ryuji haven't known each other for a long time yet we are already like best friends.

I took a peek inside Ryuji's class and saw Ryuji cleaning the classroom "Alone"

"Woah, Diligent huh?" I said surprised.

He let out a sigh "No i'm forced to do this the others that are supposed to help out but they already went home so as class president i'm forced to do this whether i like it or not" He said.

"Hahaha poor guy" I laughed.

"Don't just laugh help me out will ya?" He said.

"Alright alright pass me the broom" i decided to help Ryuji out.

"You will come today right?" I asked.

"Of course, why not? I have nothing to do at home anyway plus i don't want to do homework" He said.

After a few minutes we are finally done cleaning the classroom.

"Aaaagh! Finally we're done wanna drop by Shin's classroom?" Ryuji asked.

"Are you sure he isn't home by now?" I asked.

"Only one way to find out" He replied.

I nodded and we both walked together towards Shin's classroom.

"Hey isn't that?" Ryuji stopped when he saw Shishiro and Makoto.

Ryuji and Shishiro's eyes meet and they both immediately look in the other direction with a slightly red expression.

"Hmm? What's wrong with you two?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh! Uhh nothing" He said and i shrugged "Whatever"

"So what are you both doing hih!" I noticed Makoto's tired and lifeless face "Makoto you look terri-" She looked at me dead in the eyes.

"Terribly cute today ahahaha" I said scared.

Shishiro giggled "I'm going to take Makoto home, how about you two?" She asked.

"Oh we are looking for Shin have you seen him?" I asked back.

"Yeah he got called to the students council room but it has been a while try looking in the classroom he might already return" She said.

"Anyways i gotta go Makoto seems very tired bye Naoto, B-bye Ryuji" She said as she walked past us with Makoto.

"Y-yeah take care Shishiro" Ryuji said, stuttering.

"Are you sure there is nothing wrong with you two?" I asked "Nope nothing c'mon let's check the classroom"

I shrugged again and went over to Shin's classroom.

"Shin you here?" I opened the classroom door and there was nobody inside.

"Huh there is nobody here c'mon let's check the students council room" Ryuji said.

"Wait a moment" I said as I entered the classroom and checked at the cabinet below the tables.

"Hah! Got one!" I said "What are you doing?" Ryuji asked.

"I'm looking for pens" I showed Ryuji the pen I found.

"Why are you stealing pens now?" Ryuji asked.

"Tsk tsk tsk, It's not stealing if they left it inside the school after school hour ended besides finder's keepers who can resist free stuff? Now i don't have to buy a new pen if i ever need one" I explained.

"That is so stupid" Ryuji said while looking at different cabinets.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Looking for pens" He replied.

After a few moments of "Looting" we finally decide to head to the students council room.

"Not bad huh? I got 3" I said looking at the pen I found.

"I got more than you thought I got 4" Ryuji said while putting the pen he found inside his bag.

We arrived at the students council room but hesitated to open the door.

"Go ahead, open the door" I said to Ryuji.

"Why me?" He asked "Just do it" I said.

"Ugh fine" Ryuji opened the door and there was a young man cleaning the room.

"Yes, can i help you?" He asked "Oh you're the vice president, I'm looking for the president" I said to him.

"Oh the weirdo? She went out a few minutes ago" He replied.

"Even the students council doesn't seem to like her huh?" I thought to myself.

"Hey umm, maybe you should consider being nice to her. I'm just saying" I said.

"Mind your own business now get out i'm busy" He said.

"Okay thank you" We left the room and headed over to the school gate.

"So what do we do now?" Ryuji asked.

"I'm sure he is already home, we'll just have to pick him up later, let's just go home for now" I said and Ryuji replied with a nod.

We both went to our own separate home.

I went inside my house and got changed.

I lay down on my couch and turn on the TV. after a few hours it is now 14pm.

I took a shower, ate then got in my car.

I drove all the way to Ryuji's house and pressed the horn.

Beep! beep!!

Beep! beep!!

.........

BEEP!!!!! BEEEP!!!!!!

"ALRIGHT I'M COMING! GEEZ SHUT UP!" Ryuji's voice can be heard from inside the house.

A few moments later Ryuji came out of his house and got in my car.

"Have you tried calling Shin?" I asked.

"No, I don't have his number and please call me next time, don't just spam the horn like it's the end of the world" He replied.

"I don't have your number though" I said then we decided to exchange contacts.

I let out a sigh and drove toward Shin's house.

"By the way how did you know where my house is? I haven't told you have i?" Ryuji asked.

"No you haven't told me so i asked Shishiro oh and she asked me to take care of you" I replied.

"Wha-..." Ryuji's face turned red.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" I asked and Ryuji replied by shaking his head.

After a few moments we arrived at Shin's house, We got out of the car and rang the doorbell.

"Oh and why didn't just ring the doorbell at my house? Why did you use the horn?" Ryuji asked."Cause it's fun" I replied short.

"Damn you Naoto" He said and I laughed.

Soon after Ai opened the door "Yes? Oh it's you two what's up?" She asked.

"We are looking for Shin, is he home?" I asked.

"Nope he is still in Mio's house" She replied.

"Mio as in the students council president Mio?" I was surprised.

"Yeah why?" She replied.

"Oh nothing we had a promise to play together how long do you think until he came back?" I asked again.

"Ask him yourself" Ai gave us her phone that is already dialing Shin's number.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Shin! Where are you!?" Ryuji took the phone and yelled.

"Oh Ryuji, I'm in Mio's house did Ai not tell you where I am?" He asked.

"N-no? What about our promise?" Ryuji asked.

"You guys have fun, I'll join some other time, bye!" He said hanging up the call.

"Wha-!"

Ryuji returned the phone back to Ai.

"So got the answer that you guys want?" She asked.

"Not really what we want but what more can we do haha well i guess we'll just have to cancel and try some other time" I said.

"Say what promise are you talking about?" She asked curious.

"Nothing really important to be honest we just promised to play some games together" I replied.

"Why don't you two just play together?" She said.

"It won't be much of a fun if it's just the two of us" Ryuji said.

"Then can I join in?" She asked.

"Woah that is surprising can you even play?" Ryuji asked.

"Depending on the game i'm not that good at fighting games but i can play other games just fine" She said.

"Well it's better than nothing isn't it?" I said to Ryuji and he nodded.

"Cmon get in" I point at my car.

The three of us got inside of my car and drove back to my house.

"By the way Naoto where did you get this car?" Ai asked.

"I bought it with my allowance and it took me a while but i guess it is worth it" I replied.

"Huh okay"

We talked about many random things along the way and after a few minutes we finally arrived at my house.

Ai and Ryuji sat down on a couch in the living room "Huh your house is not as plain as i thought it's full of pictures" Ai said as she looked around the room.

"Haha make yourself at home I'll grab some cookies" I went to the kitchen and came back with a jar of chocolate chip cookies.

I turned on the console and played a fighting game together while eating the cookies.

"Goddammit!! You liar you said you're bad at fighting games!" Ryuji yelled at Ai for beating him for the last 5 rounds.

"Cih sounds like a baby whining to me hehehe i said i'm bad at it not that i'm gonna lose at it" Ai said insultingly.

"You! I'll get you this time!" Ryuji is determined but in the end he still loses.

We switched and it is my turn to fight Ai.

After 6 Rounds of the match we tied "Damn that was fun" I said exhausted.

"I told you I'm not good at these games" Ai said and for some reason Ryuji felt insulted.

After a few more rounds we then switched to playing Truth or Dare.

"Ai truth or dare?" I asked.

"Dare of course!" She replied with confidence.

"Wait here a moment" I went to the kitchen and make some really spicy ramen in a small bowl

"Finish this" I said.

"You didn't put poison here right?" She asked.

"No of course not" I replied.

She took a spoon full of the ramen and ate it.

"Woah!! This is really good, can you send me the recipe later?" She asked not feeling spicy at all.

"Really? Let me have a taste" Ryuji took a spoon full of the ramen, I was about to stop him but it was too late.

"Bleh! What the hell!! huk huk huk!!" he choked.

We laughed at Ryuji and continued to hang out until we separated and went home.
