Eden's Garden Cafe

Makoto's POV.

"Anyone else want to talk sh*t to us? Or do you all want to kneel down and apologize?" As soon as Makoto said that everyone in the room felt scared.

They walked towards Mio one by one and started apologizing and went back to minding their own business.

Makoto went back to sitting with us, we can still feel the anger in her "Remind me not to make you mad okay?" I said to Makoto.

"I hate selfish people more than anything, I mean if it's a joke I won't make a big deal out of it but if it gets too far i won't hold back the same goes to insults mocking me is one thing but mocking my friends is a completely different story" She said.

"T-thanks Makoto but you didn't have to go that far" Mio said.

"Oh I'm sorry if I scared you but he started it. What am I supposed to do?" Makoto said while patting Mio on the head.

"I-i mean you could have talked your way out of it?" Mio said.

"Oh c'mon you learn psychology Mio you should know this more than anyone, most people are naive they can't be persuaded with words sometimes you need to take actions in order to change them" Makoto replied.

"B-but"

"But of course not everyone is like that there are a lot of kind people out there but sadly those kinds of people are very rare, most people follow the crowd because they don't want to be left out, they are afraid to be different" She explained.

I've never seen this side of Makoto before. She has always been a very cheerful, calm and clumsy girl. I never would have thought she has a really scary side inside of her.

"That is absolutely correct, Miss Makoto" Mr.Stephan enters the room.

As Mr.Stephan enters the room the student that started the fight earlier follows.

Makoto gave him an intimidating stare and he flinched.

Mr.Stephan walks towards Makoto "You know why I'm here right?" He asked Makoto.

Makoto let out a sigh in frustration "I really wish he didn't tell you anything stupid mister cause if he did" Makoto stared at the student again and he flinched once again.

"Now now let's not start another pointless ruckus and come with me to the faculty office after school okay?" He said.

"Wha-why not now?" The student asked.

"Because I'm sure you need time to prepare for the punishment that she will be giving you" He replied.

"What!? Shouldn't you be punishing her? She is the one that started i-" SLAM!!! Makoto slammed her desk again making everyone in the room flinched.

"I'm sorry what did you just say hmm?~" Makoto asked with an intimidating smile.

"Now now, like I said, save it for later. please enjoy your break time, as for you, you come with me you are not allowed to leave the faculty office until school is over" He said.

The students have no choice but to follow Mr.Stephan and accept his fate.

after they leave the other students decide to leave the classroom and head somewhere else.

Makoto let out another sigh "Man i'm tired, i'm just glad that your father isn't blind Shishi" Makoto said.

"What do you mean?" Shishiro asked.

"It's rare to see the right side win, honestly I was prepared to accept being framed by the man but the result was unexpected" She replied.

"Ah, I see what you mean" Shishiro said.

"S-so what are you gonna do to him?" Mio asked nervous.

"Meh who cares about him the obvious answer would be me making his life miserable so let's just forget about it" She stood up "C'mon let's grab a bite i'm starving" She said as she head towards the classroom door.

When she opened the door she was surprised to see Ryuji and Naoto standing on the other side.

"Huwa! You both surprised me, what are you two doing here?" She asked.

"We heard there is a fight here so we came to watc- i mean we were worried" Naoto said.

"Yeah what happened?" Ryuji asked.

We explained what happened to both of them and they looked very surprised by what we told them.

"Woah that really happened? I know Makoto can be scary and have the power of a gorilla but damn" Naoto said.

"Hah!? What was that supposed to mean?" Makoto asked.

"Hahaha nothing i'm sorry, so what are you guys going to do now?" Naoto asked again.

"Right, we are going to the cafeteria. I'm hungry" Makoto replied.

"We are just tagging along" I said.

Naoto then noticed Mio standing behind me "So this is the famous president huh she is cuter than i thought" Naoto said.

"You are right she is cuter up close" Ryuji said, Shishiro pouted and pinched Ryuji.

"Oww what was that for?" Ryuji asked while holding the arm Shishiro pinched.

"Nothing hmph!" Shishiro pouted and started walking away followed by the confused Ryuji and the rest of us.

We arrived at the cafeteria. Some of the students from our class were there and they all stared at us.

"Wow you really got popular Makoto" Naoto said.

"Whatever i'm starving" Makoto ignored.

We bought some bread from the cafeteria and sat down together, Mio is nervous by the people's stare but we manage to take her mind off it by talking to her.

After a few moments Mio left us because she had business in the students council room.

We escorted her there because we were worried people might do something to her, after we arrived at the students council room we parted ways and headed back to our own class.

The rest of the class went by like usual, short after the bell rang and with that school is over for today.

Makoto went to the faculty office like what Mr.Stephan told her to do. All of us waited at the front of the school gate for a while.

After a few minutes of waiting Makoto finally came.

"Sorry it took a while did you guys wait long?" She asked.

"Not really, it's only a few minutes" I said.

"So what happened there?" Naoto asked.

"I'll explain later at the cafe" She said.

"Cafe? What cafe?" Ryuji asked.

"I'm tired so let's go freshen up in a cafe for a change of atmosphere beside we have Mio with us this will be the first time she hangs out with us let's show her a good time" Makoto said as she walked away and we can only follow.

"Is it really okay if i hangout with you guys?" Mio asked.

"It's okay like I said they are nice people" I said to Mio reassuringly and she replied with a nod.

"If Shin says so then okay" Mio said.

After a few minutes of walking we finally arrived at a very familiar cafe, no it's not the same cafe from before it's my mom's cafe.

"Makoto why here?" I was confused.

"Hmm? What's wrong? I heard this place is really good so I decided to check it out. Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Oh nothing, I'm just curious" I lied.

"By the way Shin, where is Ai? I haven't seen her all day" Shishiro asked.

"She said she will be going to her friend's house to do an assignment" I replied.

"Ohh okay then" She said.

"C'mon let's enter i'm curious what's it like inside" Ryuji said.

Makoto then walked towards the door and opened it.

"Welcome master may please come i–" A little short girl in a maid outfit greeted us.

We were very surprised by who greeted us and I can only sigh from behind them.

"A-Ai?" Makoto said, surprised.

"Wh-what are you guys doing here?" She started to get embarrassed.

I couldn't help but laugh looking at what Ai was wearing "Hahahaha you look cute" I said.

"Don't you laugh at me!" She yelled.

Soon after my mom came "What's all the ruckus about?" She asked.

Makoto and the others are once again surprised "Aren't you Shin's mom?" Shishiro asked.

"Yep and these two are my proud son and daughter. You guys must be Shin's friend. How may I help you?" She asked with a smile.

The others are left speechless while I'm still laughing at Ai.

After a few moments we entered the cafe, apparently the cafe isn't very busy today so there are not many people present.

We then sit down together "So you're Shin's mom?" Ryuji asked.

"Yep! The one and only" She replied.

"Shin, your mother looks so young! Are you sure she is not a teenager?" Ryuji said.

Shishiro pinched Ryuji again "Yuji don't be rude!" She said.

"Oww that hurts and who is Yuji?" He asked.

"I know she looks young but she is" I stared at my mom.

"Hehehe it's embarrassing but thank you for saying i look young but i'm actually 40 years old" She replied.

Once again they are surprised.

Mio is rather speechless; she looks like she can't process all the information.

"Th-then is this your cafe?" Mio asked.

"Yes! This is my very own cafe welcome to Eden's Garden!" She replied.

The name "Eden's Garden" Is taken from the garden of Eden where it is described as a paradise with no worries and only happiness comes to whoever comes inside of it. My mom made this cafe simply to make the customers happy and relieve them from their stress and worries. She also came up with the idea of going with a different theme each day to fit with the customer's preference such as maid, cat girl, butler and so much more.

We spent quality time together after all the surprises. After a few moments they then left and I decided to stay at the cafe and went home together with mom and Ai.

"Such good kids hihihi" My mom said.
