Koko and Misako

I woke up with someone's arms around me. I opened my eyes and sighed. "Hey, love," I murmured.

He looked down. "You're awake."

I nodded. "I hate passing out."

He kissed me gently. "You aren't the only one. The other Kai and Cole both passed out too."

I sat up and looked around. We were in our room. "Did the other Lloyd tell you everything?"

He nodded. "So Gaara won't show up until the day of the first battle?"

I stood. "Yes. He's bringing Suna and Konoha with him." I paused. "Well, all the ones who were pretty bad on Suna's behalf."

He stood too. "So Liam did a good amount of damage then?"

"Apparently. How are the others getting along with other other Ninja?"

"Honestly? The first thing Cole and Jay did was challenge their sideways version of themselves to video games."

I laughed. "You didn't join them?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I had something better that I had to look after."

I kissed him. "Hmm, you do," I murmured then I took a step back. "So how about your parents and Wu? Are they getting along with the opposites of themselves?"

He chuckled. "Both Wu's are looking through the scrolls to see if they can figure out how Liam came back."

"And your parents?"

He shook his head. "Koko and Mom don't get along."

I frowned. "Why?"

He sighed. "Koko still doesn't like that the other me is the Green Ninja. Mom says she's proud that her son can keep the world safe. They got into a huge fight and Nya separated them."

"Both Nya's or just our Nya?"

He snorted. "They both had to. One holding my mom and the other holding Koko."

"Where were the Garmadon's at this time?" I asked as I brushed my hair out.

He looked away. "The other Lloyd and I had to separate them."

"What?" I didn't think the parents would hate each other. "What did they do?"

"One says he's treating his son wrong and vice versa."

I braided my hair and turned to him. "Let me see what I can do." He blocked the door. I scowled. "Lloyd, move."

"I like your hair better when it's not braided," he growled.

I rolled my eyes. "I like having my hair in either a ponytail, bun, or braid. I'm not taking it out." He glared and I looked at him evenly. He moved out of the way and I heard fighting going on so I followed it to the training room. Misakao and Koko were arguing. "You should be proud your son is protecting people," Misako snapped.

"And you should care more about your son," Koko snapped back.

"I do!"

"Do you? Because from what I heard, you abandoned him!"

"What about you, huh? You want your son to quit being the Green Ninja but you, yourself, are a fighter!"

I stepped into the room. "Koko, Misako, enough," I said firmly putting myself between them.

"Did you hear what she said?" Misako said.

"Me? What about what you said?" Koko snapped.

"Shut up, both of you," I said sharply. "We're allies in this. If we fight amongst ourselves then how are we protecting anyone?"

Koko still glared at Misako. "It's not my fault that she doesn't like being corrected about how she raises her son. No wonder he's so stupid and reckless."

My eyes narrowed. "Excuse me? That's my fiancee you're talking about."

She frowned. "Why would you date someone like him? When he can't guarantee that he'll come home?"

"I can't promise that to him either," I snapped. "Liam is after me. I'm the reason there's a war starting."

She sighed. "Fine, but she should be a better mother."

"I'm fine with the way my mother is," Lloyd said as he came in with the other Lloyd.

"How could you be fine? She abandoned you!"

"If she hadn't I wouldn't be the man I am today."

"The man I love," I added and he smiled at me lovingly.

She opened her mouth to say something but the other Lloyd stepped in. "Mom, she was researching about the Green Ninja and she couldn't take him with her. His dad was evil at the time so what do you think she could have done?" The other Lloyd asked.

She narrowed her eyes. "She could have held off on the research until he was older."

"By that time he would have taken up the reins of being the Green Ninja," I said. "He was nine when he started his training, Koko, and he was excited about it." My Lloyd frowned at me and I gave him a warning look.

"At least I knew my son was the Green Ninja from the beginning," Misako said.

Koko launched herself at her and I tackled her to the ground. "Koko, enough," I snapped as I pinned her to the ground. "You're insulting Misako, did you really think she wouldn't do it back?"

"Who do you even have her here?" Koko yelled. "She's not even a fighter!"

"She's Lloyd's mom," I growled. I glanced at Misako. "Misako, can you please go see if the Wu's need help?" She nodded and, with a last glare at Koko, left. I got up and Koko did too. "From now on you can't go anywhere near her, unless one of us is in the room. If you see her somewhere and we're aren't there, just walk away." She nodded and left the room. I rubbed my ribs. She had managed one good hit before I got her down.

The other Lloyd followed her and my Lloyd came over to me. "Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded. "Just a bruise. It'll heal in a couple of seconds."

He shook his head. "I should have done that, not you."

I kissed him. "Well, this was my idea so it's my job to keep the troops in line."

He rolled his eyes. "Did you seriously just say that?"

I grinned. "Yes."

He kissed me and I kissed back. Lloyd licked my lips and I gave him entrance. His tongue slid against mine and explored the rest of my mouth. I lightly bit his tongue and it was enough to get me entrance to his mouth. I slid my tongue against his and he growled as he tried to take control again. After a few minutes of battling it out, we broke apart. He pressed his forehead against mine. "I love you," he murmured.

"I love you too." I pulled back and sighed. "We better go check and make sure everyone else is getting along."

He nodded and slid his fingers into mine. "Let's go." We left the room.
