Sports Festival: Begin!

Today was the day of the Sports Festival. A special event that happens once a year. UA students only get three shots to prove themselves to heroes. Pros all around Japan watch the festival, because this is the one opportunity students get to show off their powers and intelligence. The festival is not only a chance for UA to show their worth, but it's also a chance for villains to see all the Quirks a limits they have. It's both a strength and a weakness.

"Kiyo, please don't take forever with your disguise." Izuku said as he watched Kiyo twist a strand of white hair.

"This wig is fugly and the contacts are a weird color." Kiyo said. "Why did you make Toga pick my disguise?"

"Payback for throwing pies at me. And it's funny."

"Oh, it's funny, huh? I'll show you funny. It'll be funny when I rip your wig off and pull the contacts out of your eyes."

"Kiyo, in my eyes, that's not funny."

"Well, I'm my eyes, it's hilarious. Get used to it. Either way, we won't have to worry about anyone catching us."

Izuku tilted his head, like a question mark floated over his head. "We won't? How?"

"Because Shigaraki's master, he calls himself All For One, he lent us a little bit of money. He bought the entire VIP lounge for us."

Izuku's jaw dropped after hearing something like that. Did this guy seriously just drop hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars just to get info?

"Will you guys shoo already?" Shigaraki came in and started smacking Kiyo and Izuku with a roll of newspaper. "You're stinking up the bathroom with you're stupidity."

Kiyo and Izuku ran out of the bathroom and were on their way to the Sports Festival. The empty part of the cuty, once again, looked gloomy and depressing. It always did.

"Are we allowed to roam around?" Izuku asked as they flew through the city with their grappling hooks.

"To some degree, I think," Kiyo answered. "Since we're the only VIP's, we can sort of wander. I think we can meet the contestants too."

Would I be able to see Kacchan without him noticing?

"Don't even think about it." Kiyo interrupted Izuku's thought. "I can already tell by your silence. If you run into your buddy, Katsuki, act like you don't know him."

"If I run into any of them, I'll just act as if I'm a fan. I'll ask them about their Quirks and be done. If anything beyond that happens, I'll just call you so you can listen to our conversation."

"That's one thing you can do, I guess."

The two of them arrived at the UA front gate. It was built back up again after being completely disintegrated. The front of the school was full of food vendors, handing out out food. Heroes and citizens were a treated about the grounds.

"Boys, ID and ticket," the security guard said, crossing his arms. He had already asked Kiyo and Izuku for their ID's and tickets.

"Uh," Izuku exclaimed. He then leaned to the side and whispered. "We didn't think about ID's."

"It's fine," Kiyo whispered back. "Just show the tickets and they should be able to tell that we're VIP's."

"What good will that do?"

"Boys!" The security guard yelled. "Quir whispering. You're holding up the line."

Kiyo and Izuku pulled out their tickets and showed the security guard. The tickets were labeled with a gold color, in the top right corner, VIP.

"Hmph," the guard scoffed. "They told me that two kids had bought the entire lounge, and I guess they were right." The guard shook his head. "They also told me to let them in right away. Well, enjoy your stay at the Sports Festival."

"Thank you," Izuku said and dragged Kiyo through the gate.

The plan was foolproof. Nobody recognized Izuku or Kiyo because of the wigs, contacts and outfits. Flawless disguises, well, mostly flawless. If you count white jackets. striped shirts and pink shoes as flawless.

"There's some takoyaki," Izuku pointed at a vendor making takoyaki. "Can we get some?"

"If you can get your blind butt over there, then fine. If you ever make it there then I guess I'll pay-"

"Kiyo, hurry up!" Izuku waved from the takoyaki stand.

Kiyo sighed as he pulled out his wallet. He pulled out a few bucks and started crying. "Why did I say I would pay?"

Izuku ate the takoyaki with a cheeky expression. Now this was the life anybody would want. Whenever you want takoyaki, ask your friend to buy it.

"Alright, you got your takoyaki, now get your ass over to the VIP lounge." Kiyo said as he crossed his arms.

"I wanna get karaage," Izuku then pointed at another food stand, but this one was making karaage.

"Where did your takoyaki go?! I just got that for you not even five minutes ago!"

"Can you get karaage?"

"I'm not your damned wallet! Get it yourself."

Izuku started to tear up. He sniffled and was about to cry. He tried manipulating Kiyo into getting him the karaage. And it worked. Kiyo's heart was practically shot with an arrow.

"F- fine! But, I'm only spending my money on you this one time."

About an hour later, when the had found their way to the VIP lounge, Kiyo opened his walls and stared at with sadness. He had used up his entire allowance on Izuku. He had bought food, stuffed animals, keychains, anything you could find at a festival.

"I can't believe I spend all that money on you. Why couldn't you just bring your wallet?" Kiyo said as he wiped his eyes with his sleeve, as if he was crying.

"Maybe you just like me and you can't resist." Izuku said while putting a finger to his chin.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Who are you?!"

"I'm just teasing. Don't be so loud. It's hurting my ears."

Izuku kept teasing Kiyo, saying that Kiyo was crushing on him. It may have been true, but Kiyo would never say something like that out loud, nor would he acknowledge such a thing.

"HEYYYYYY!" A very loud voice yelled into a microphone, hyping up the crowd. Present Mic and Aizawa. The ones who were going to be commentating the festival. "Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescence that you all love, the UA Sports Featival is about to begin! Are you all ready?!"

Why do they have to be so loud? Izuku plugged his ears. Present Mic's voice was so irritatingly loud. His yelling rang loudly in Izuku's ears.

"Let's welcome the classes and student's participating!" Present Mic went on. "The miraculous new stars who overcame an enemy attack with hearts of steel! Hero course, class 1-A!"

Class 1-A came walking out from the shadows, revealing themselves as competitors in the Sports Festival. Everyone was there…except Izuku.

"And this class! They haven't gotten much airtime but theyre all still amazing students! Hero course, class 1-B! Next up, general studies! Classes C, D, E! Support course, classes F, G, H! And the business course, classes I, J, K! All the first years are here!"

Everybody, huh? I'm not so sure about that.

"Will you keep your thoughts to yourself?" Ghost demanded, sitting right next to Izuku and playing a game on a phone.

"Wah!" Izuku yelped and fell out of his chair. "Where the hell did you come from?!"

"Dude," Kiyo stared at Izuku from his chair. "Are you okay? There's nobody here but us. Your not going insane, are you?"

"Ahaha," Izuku rubbed his head and laughed. "Sorry, I'm probably just seeing things."

Izuku squinted at Ghost with an looming aura. Why did he need to pop up now of all times? Wasn't he only supposed to be in Izuku head?

"Can you shut up?" Ghost turned his head to Izuku. "You're giving me a headache. Keep it down in there." Ghost knocked on Izuku's head.

Hey! Don't do that.

"Aw, are you shy? You don't like being touched? Well, that's fine. I won't bother you for too long. I just wanted to watch the festival."

You would've been watching it anyway. You've said it again and again that I'm you and you're me.

"It's a bit more complicated then that, buddy. To put it simply, your fears and regrets travel with you, wherever you go, but they don't always show. Therefore, I come out when I want to even if you didn't bring me out."

That sounds annoying. Why can't I just force you to go back?

"Trust me, if I could stay in a corner inside your empty little mind, I'd do so all day. But, since I have a certain duty I'd like to uphold, I come out put and bother you."

And what duty would that be

"You'll know when it matters."

Kiyo stared at Izuku like he was a lunatic. Izuku rubbed his head, still feeling the knocking Ghost had done in his head. In Kiyo's eyes, Izuku was just acting insane, after all, only Izuku could see Ghost. If anything, it might as well just be a hallucination or an illusion.

"And now, it's time for the player pledge!"

I’m going to pay attention to my other book for a while. A Hero, But Would Rather Be A Villain. So, Blind isn’t going to be updated for a while.
