Chapter 36 '-'(Y.D)

L stared at the beautiful city view from the window beside me.Luckily somehow l had survived from the incident.A month had already passed when l finally woke up and as usual no one was around atleast not blood related.

"So...strawberry or lime?"He asked as soon as he entered the room.

L looked at him as l stared at the drinks he brought.His injuries also seemed to have healed fully when l was at my temporary sleep.lt was strangely refreshing."Lime."l said as l reached out my hand to him.He immediately placed the drink in palm and l returned back to look at the view in silence.

According to the news and gossip l've been hearing,City A is yet to recover from the suprise attack that occurred while City K is now a red threat zone and due to that every city right now has increased it's number of forces in case there targeted next.They also held a number of emergency meetings to determine the player behind all these games.The whole case was like an unknown phenomena they never knew could happen where human and monsters could join forces to attack humans? and what's more frightening is that with all these accidents happening out of the blue there was no evidence was left.lt was like they were a ghost who is only felt or heard but never seen.lt was all weird and l wanted to stay out of but l couldn't because every place it occurred l was surprisingly present and the centre of attention whether l liked it or not.l was starting to feel like there true motives were targetting me but l blew the thought away immediately because judging from there actions closely they had other reasons to drive them.Well either way they did me a favour without them even knowing.Now l don't have to go back to that hell hole.lt was all down and there was no way to restore it to its former glory.l smiled at the thought of how now they don't have any chains bounding me to them and how one of their precious headquarters is down.They must be visibly angry right now.

L turned to smile at the one beside me and he immediately smiled back.

"When am l gonna leave this place?"

"They said you can leave tomorrow."

"Oh,Finally."l whispered under my breath as l laid back down.l missed my house and my soft blanky already.l wanted tomorrow to go as fast as it can.l was already tired of smelling medicines and some unknown shit l didn't want to know.l feeling was too uncomfortable with this place and l wanted out already.l let out a heavy breath and closed my eyes as let the cold drink rest on my face for a little while before l drink it.

*The Home Coming Day*

L stared in shock at the crumbled building.l was at at a loss for words how it happened and also frustrated.Well, because the two buildings beside it were perfectly fine!No cracks were even seen or titling didn't even happen while the house at the middle happen to be the unlucky one and....l cursed inwardly as l paced around angrily.

We had just left the hospital hours ago and my feelings were filled with joy and happiness now it downgraded into anger and frustration and maybe a little bit of sadness because now am homeless.The thought left a sour taste in my mouth as l thought about it.l stared at the guy who was silently watching me and let a heavy sigh as l closed my eyes to calm down.

"Wanna come over?"He asked breaking the silence between us as well as making me stare at him in shock.
