Chapter 11

We stand there just staring at each other.My hand was still bleeding from her sharp blade.Still no sight of emotions in her eyes.It's like she isn't even alive just an empty shell infront me.

Out of nowhere she launches herself again infront of me which only leaves me mere seconds to avoid a cut through my throat.lt looks like she's only aiming for me.l continue dodging her attacks because she leaves me no room to counter attack.lt's not easy due to her fast speed and reflexes.l also get a few scratches here and there but not too deep.l have to keep up with her or l'll be dead.Even the smallest slip up and my head will be rolling like the previous dude.

By her movements,am pretty sure she had undergone some vigorous training along the way.She is too skilled to be called an amateur.At an estimate she's atleast S ranked.Lost in my thoughts l fail to notice the dead body behind me and trip backwards where it's like she finds the right moment and launches her blade straight at me more fiercely.

Our line of sight are the same while she is sturbonly trying force her blade through my skull and me on the opposing side trying to prevent that.

l know it's the worst timing ever and l could die but her beauty still enchants me.Even though those eyes looked cold dead the moonlight still shines brightly through them while raging fire continues burning beside me.One is oceanic blue and the other golden with a tiny black spot at the bottom of her right eye,long lashes flatters now covered with stains of blood which goes to her cute chubby cheeks,pale skin and pale pinkish lips which appear soft with one glimpse and with bite marks seen at the bottom lip and her sharp canines showing as she tries to over power me as her black raven hair falls down slowly covering parts of her face.Am calculating if she is the golden reaper sent to end me,am not complaining though.lf l die, atleast l got to see an angel.

Blood starts splashing on my face due to me holding it on the sharp side.Am still struggling and admiring.

'Oh my life.'l sigh at my thoughts.

Surprisingly her grips starts to losen as l feel a drop of water in my forehead.She stares off and then stops in her actions as she stares at the sky.It was snowing.lt was unexpected luck but l took it as an advantage and disarmed her before anything else could happen.She looked out of it as she stared me with a confused look.l could see her senses returned.

"Let me go."She said barely a whisper as she still looked at me with confusion.l instinctively let go even though l was in danger a moment ago.

She stands and heads in the direction of the blazing fire.l want to stop her but l still want to see what she's gonna do so l just sit there my gaze on her.The temperature begins to go down out of nowhere as a blue light flick out of thin air and sorrounds her.With every step she takes she cold ice is released which puts out the fire and actually which comes as a suprise.lt was the first time seeing a person who uses that kind of element.They were a rare breed unlike the fire types.She reaches the broken Ferris wheel and it looks like she is looking for something.My surbodinate comes and helps me up as my everything is still focused on her.l try approaching her after minutes.

"What are looki..."Before l could finish my sentence l see her pulling out a teddy bear and even though burnt and torn she hugs it tight.lt was the same one that was on her lap.l sigh heavily as l looked upward at the falling snow.

'Well today had been an exciting day.'l brush my hair off my face to see the girl already collapses down on the ground as she hugs tightly that tore teddy.

"My little kitten... you finally reached your limits."l say as l carry her in my arms.l turn to see a couple of eyes staring at us but l ignore as l walk past them.

~At the Hospital~

L finally get my injuries treated.

"They will be l pain."l whisper to myself.

l really needed a hot shower after this chaotic day and maybe l could try and get a goodnight sleep for once.

As l walked the dimly lit halls l get a glimpse of the little angel walking on the other side of the building with that damned teddy bear in her embrace.Due to not having anything to do l decide to follow her,maybe s̶t̶a̶l̶k̶ no talk to her when am at it when am at it.

L finally find her behind the building.She is in the process of burying something.l notice her teddy bear is not beside and connect two and two.

"Need some help."

"Nah." She answers with that we stay in silence one burying her teddy bear and the other stares at her closely to monitor each and every reaction she makes.

Within about twenty or thirty minutes she's done.She wipes the sweat off her face with the back of her arms as she tries to pull away her wet hair from her face.

"L know your a complete stranger and l also don't fucking know why your here but since your here l'll make some use out of you..."She sighs heavily after her harsh words which instead of hurting intrigue me even more,she continues on,"You know l have had her since as long as l can remember.She was more than object or rather more than a toy.Like l actually chose her birth date and the stupid name 'teddy' but l chose that knowingly ....she was the only companion l could be free with,share moments with and all this comfortable shit l can't form into words...she was my favourite family member,my first friend,my only sibling and family,my happiness,my joy,my freedom,my sadness ,my victory,my ridiculous arrogance and pride,she was my everything...she holded no expectations,no pressure to say the least and never held any emotions like humans do or living creatures but that was the thing l love most in her.....shit.."She stared up at the snowy fall and bright moon.Tears clearly threatening to fall but she holds backs with also her fist held tight and l could see them starting to turn pale.She let out heavy to set of air she holding onto."l don't know why am saying this to a complete stranger and l know you think am a complete lunatic but...let be that lunatic because l don't fucking care what you think..she will forever be missed and treasured by this strange owner of hers."She finally stands up to leave and faces me with indescribable expression plastered on her face as she forces herself to smile."Thank you for your time."with that she walks past me.

l feel like am glued to the floor and nothing registers with that last look still replaying in my mind.l just ran after her without a thought put into mind and find her unsteadily walking through the halls.l grab her wrist and turn her to find tears streaming down her face.

"Let me go!"She tries to pull her arm away with the other wiping her tears away but am persistent and pull her into my embrace.She struggles for a bit but eventually gives up and bawled her eyes out.l feel it clearly even though she tries to hid her sobs.My shirt starts to get wet but l do care.l tighten my grip also patting her back.

"It's okay...it's ok...let it all out.."l say trying to comfort her.

Hours later we finally reach her room.Her eyes are all red and puffy.She looks cute.

"Umm..y-you can go now.. "She says still butting the bottom of her lip.She looked like she could disappear at any moment and that made my heart tighten even more.She is also trembling a bit which enhances my resolve to stay with her.

"Nah..l'll stay a little bit longer...if that's okay with you."

"Whatever you could what you want."

Looks like that attitude of hers returned.She sits in her bed while l sit at the chair beside her.We sit in silence for a while.

"Name?"she whispers.

"Kamil Willes you can just call me Kam and yours?"

"Yucrea Dulet."

L load for a while before connecting the dots.

'That's why she was so strong.Who knew l will be meeting royalty by a silly chance.'

"It's nice to meet your acquaintance,Yucrea."

"Same here."

Another silence falls.Minutes and Hours go with it.The moon is shining brightly now maybe due to it being midnight.The light spreads through the room.

'l guess l will be staying here.'

L stare at the bed and the figure on in it seems to be awake as daylight.

"Can't sleep."

"Nope."

Conversations have never actually been my strong suit maybe due to being sorrounded by people who knew how keep it going.l was always at the receiving end and now l feel like complete shit.What do l even say to that.

"Can you sleep with me?"
