L arrived an hour later and did the normal procedures.City K was one of the top safe spots for this deliveries to happen so l always liked coming here.Since l was already here l went to my favourite nearby cafe.lt served unique dishes which were so delicious and with one bit one gets addicted.

l entered and found a place to sit.l order my usual.The waiter shoots me a smiles and goes and gets it.

l look at my side surprisingly l catch a glimpse of a girl sitting four tables ahead of me.She has a cute expression in her face as she looks through the menu.l continue on looking at her without even a shred of shame.l was a stranger after all and this stranger was looking at a pure defenceless maiden.

She has long raven hair,pale skin and me not being close enough l can't quite get a clear view of her face properly but from the looks of it she has different coloured eyes and peach pink lips.She also has several piercing on her ears which add on the air of both mystery and cuteness.She's dressed in all black except her grey hoodie and on her lap lays a cute fluffy teddy bear.Her expression are too cute which matches her heavenly appearance.She tries calling to the waiters but decides not to.She continues these actions over and over.My meal arrives but before the waiter could go l request her to go to the table where the girl sat.

'l hope this helps her.'l think as l hear her response.l chuckle silently.

'She's too cute.'

L obviously didn't mean to over hear but my magic ability just activated on its own.lt helps me hear what people are saying from a 100 mile radius from me.l always thought it was an exhausting thing to have but now am not even regretting it,even a tiny bit.

After the waiter leaves she blushes till her face turns all red.Everything about her is cute.That smile of hers.....l feel like am enchanted looking at the angel.She almost looks like a small kitten.

A notification pops up on my phone telling me to come at the office.They really have a bad timing but if they sent this that means it was really important.l paid for my meal and left.l hoped deep within that l would meet her again as l took off in my bike.

lt was hours and hours to my destination. When l arrived it was chaotic as hell.l wondered immediately what was going on.l arrive to my mentor's office.

"Oh your here, go gear up.We are living in ten."He said while still looking through some documents.

"Why?"

"We got reports that City K's has been labelled code red."

"Code red?l was just there and it looked peaceful to me."He looked at me like l had said the most stupidest thing anyone could say.The next minute he projected something with his magic.lt looked like a person sitting on large desk.The news actually.The woman started speaking in a formal tone.

*Good evening we start with breaking news out of City K and at least at this moment looks to be a city under terror attack on several fronts the reports have been coming in rapidly we expect many details will change but what we can piece together so far the associated press reporting their had been four suicide attacks, numerous monster attacks and one bombing inside an amusement park and there have also been shootings and a large number of people have been taken hostage.We are still awaiting for more news about the incident to come in as...*

"Now do you understand?Go gear up, boy."

The flash image of the cute kitten comes into mind which ignites my determination for this fight.

The troopes are split into different sections around the city when we arrive.l look through my group which was sent to the amusement park and found two of them were from the famous house of dulets.One has golden dazzling eyes with yellowish hair to match while the other red Ruby eyes with black jade hair even if the rest of them was covered you could see how there features differentiated from normal beauty just like how the little kitten looked.l hoped she was okay or more like l wished she wasn't even there when the red flag was raised.

We did the normal procedure and dealt with some of the mice.They didn't look too much to handle but even though we can't let our guards down.Any shit could go down and we needed to be prepared at all times.We evacuated some of the injured and those who were held captive.We continue to go deeper but we find them running towards us which made us get confused but we regained composure and tried to ask them some questions but they looked too shocked to say anything so we decided to directed them at the exit and ventured deep.lf it scared them that much we needed to deal with them or it immediately before anything bad could happen.

We reach the middle of the amusement park to find a girl in the middle of brutal murder.When the man sees us,he man comes running towards us,crying for us to help him.By the looks of it he seems to be one of the terrorist.He didn't have even a shred of audacity to come to us but before he could come any near his head rolls instead in our direction as the girl stands there looking at us.

l look closer to find it's the little kitten.Blood and scratches all over her body.Most of the blood am not sure if it's her's or not but the scratches seems her's.There are both monsters and humans behind her.lt was like a scene from a horror movie and the fire flaming behind her was making it even more terrifying.She stared at us with a cold gaze,no emotion to be seen until she starts smiling.

Surprisingly l see the two dulets putting on a fighting pause.l immediately wonder why as l don't access the situation more clearly as out of nowhere she comes slashing my right arm which l kept to defend myself.l launched her away from me with my magic to put some distance between us.Luckily or not or just my arm is still in place and just having this big wound on it.The pain clutched on me.l was careless and l forgot that l was in no place to let my guard down even if it was before this little cute kitten.
