Chapter 13 - Hatred

I woke up from the light hitting the windows of the room. I slightly opened my eyes and realized something. I looked around and I noticed that this isn't my room. Then, I felt that someone was holding my hand. I looked at that person and I recognized that this is the girl from last night.

How did I know?

She is still wearing that freaking white dress. I immediately snatched my hand away from her and because of that, she woke up from her sleep. There, I saw her face...

"You're awake." She said and smiled.

What the hell?

"Aviana?!" I asked in disbelief. I can't help myself but be shocked.

What is she doing in Italy?

Did she follow me?

I thought she was angry at me. No, I mean, I thought she despises me for leaving her.

"Yes, It's me." She answered and smiled again. I suddenly came back to reality. I shouldn't be with her, not now. I have to go. I immediately stood up from the bed but she stopped me when I was heading toward the door.

"Where are you going?" She asked confused. Even though I'm not looking at her, I can tell that she is surprised about my behavior. I just don't want to see her face because if I do, I might end up doing things that I shouldn't be doing. I should hold back these emotions piling up inside my chest. I have to get out of this place, fast!

"Away from you." Words that slipped through my mouth.

"W-What?" She asked in disbelief. I can hear the confusion in her voice.

Can she not get what I'm saying?

She obviously can understand me but she doesn't want to listen.

"You didn't mean, that right?" She added and pulled my shoulders. It made me look at her and because of what she did, there I saw her eyes again. I saw those sad eyes of hers once again.

What the hell are you doing to her again, Ace?

You are hurting her even more!

"You don't want this too, right?" She asked.

"You don't want this too? Tell me! I'll do anything." She stated and started to cry. I have to do something. I have to go away. She has to let me go.

"You're obsessed." The words that I would never say to her finally came out of this sinful mouth. That statement made her eyes widen. She took a step back and smiled sadly. Tears started to fall from her eyes. Yes! Cry more! I need to see you hate me to death. Hate me Aviana!

"I'm sick and tired of playing games. So, here's the truth Aviana." I said and came near her. I held on to her arms tight, letting her know that I'm really angry right now, and letting her feel that I'm fucking tired of this.

"I know you know me for playing around with girls. You should probably know now why I kept on sticking around with you." I said and tried to look calm.

"But I ended up getting in trouble because of you. So, I'm fucking tired of this shit. I don't want to stay beside you any longer. I can't even stand being with you for even just a second. It feels like any minute I can die if I'm with you."

"So, please Aviana can you do me one favor?"

"Stay away from me." I tried to say those as if I meant them. I said it all to her face and I know that my words will surely hurt her but this is for the best. My hurtful words made her cry even more.

"You're lying!" She confidently answered.

"No, Aviana, I'm not." I calmly answered and held her arms tighter than before.

I saw how her arms started to turn red. I'm holding onto her too tight but I didn't want to loosen my grip anymore or she might notice that I am just acting it all up. I'm already hurting her but she isn't even bothered by it.

She is not complaining at all. All the things that I've been doing to her, she accepted all and never compared. She has been suffering because of me, ever since the day she met me. If only I didn't pester her around, she wouldn't be making that face in front of me.

"I can't stand being with you. You're like a poison that can kill me any minute." I added. I saw her flinch at what I had said. I just hope that these words will make her resent me.

"No." She said and that made her collapse onto the bed next to her.

"That is the truth so accept it," I answered and was about to leave but then I stopped for a minute.

"Besides, I already have a fiancé and I love her dearly," I added and finally left the room without even looking at her because if I did, I might say I'm sorry to her instead of leaving this place.

Those were all lies Aviana. I haven't even met her but because of this lie, you will surely don't want to see me which will make me feel at ease.

When I was finally outside the room, I noticed that I was in some kind of hotel and a lot of men were guarding the room.

Is that our men? or hers?

Well, they didn't look at me so it was probably her bodyguards.

Bodyguards?

Why does she have one?

I never saw her having one. Never mind! I proceeded to walk along the hallways and when I was finally outside the hotel, a car suddenly parked in front of me and a driver went outside, opening the door of the back seat.

"The Miss wishes you to come home safe." He stated as he opened the door for me. I had no choice but to take the ride so I just continued to go inside.

I looked at the hotel again when I was finally inside the car. There, I realized that this was the hotel last night but someone attracted my attention and it is a girl. That made me look at her thoroughly. She looks familiar though I don't know where I saw her.

Then, the driver started to drive away from that place and a few seconds later while I was looking outside from the window of the car, a sudden realization hit me. I didn't notice last night that we passed through this road. Well, it was dark so I can't tell but this place feels strange. There are a lot of trees and you can't see any houses on this road.

Minutes had passed and I still haven't seen any car passing by as of now and there are still no houses on this road. Right then, my phone suddenly rang, and when I took it out of my coat. I saw a message from an unknown number. When I opened it, it made me shiver in fear.

You will die.

And as I scroll down and read the message, the number starts to countdown until it turn to one.
