CHAPTER 4

"Thank you so much…Alex and I am so sorry I almost killed you back there…My daughter is now feeling great, she is cured and I am really grateful for that" Chris said to Alex and then Alex Replied with a short grin "Don't Thank me, Already because of me so many people are dead including those whom I loved and I don't want any more to die… Need my help then give a call, Right now I have some unfinished business to do" and with that statement he left the room and headed for the exit, Drake followed him and when they exit the house, Alex said to drake " Hey, I don't know how much of these werewolves are there but… We have to find the two things which can kill werewolves" Drake looked confused and asked which things, Alex replied "Silver bullets and Wolfs bane…" Drake said "what…but where will we find them?" Alex smirked and then replied "You just arrange for some silver bullets and I will arrange for wolfs bane and when you get I, Head for our house I will meet you there" Drake nodded but then was about to say something again when all of a sudden, Alex disappeared. Alex, after ditching Drake back there, was heading straight for French Quarter. When Alex reached French quarter so The Street was completely empty and a little dark and then all of a sudden he saw a woman coming out of a shop, Alex ran towards and asked "Hello, Do you know anyone named Jake…Around here?" That woman said no and headed the different way but something smelled fishy so Alex decided to follow her because as soon as she heard the name of Jake her eyes got alerted and as she turned around she started to walk in a fast speed. As Alex was following her from a distance she finally went and stopped in front of a house and as she unlocked the door quietly, she looked behind to see if anyone was following us, Alex managed to get out of sight before she noticed him and when she got in so Alex went to the window and tried to see inside and then he saw it, There was Jake sitting right beside Chris and some other people. Alex then headed towards the door and ringed the bell and the same girl whom Alex followed, opened the door. As she opened the door she was shocked to see him but then Her eyes, from shock turned into anger and she whispered something and Alex got fainted. Later as Alex regained consciousness he realized he was in the house but then he also realized he was tied to the chair with some chains on his hands. Alex yelled "Let me go!" and then he saw Jake coming and sitting in front of him and then Jake said "What do you want from me, Alex? I told you go and surrender…Why didn't you?" Alex replied "I did… I did surrender but those guys never were going to stop, even after they kill me... They said they wanted to rule New Orleans and will kill anyone who came in their way like Vampires of New Orleans and…Witches of New Orleans like you and didn't you say that you will do anything for your people? Then join me, we will destroy the werewolves and I will make sure that none of your people will be dead…" Jake was silent for a minute and two and then he finally replied "Even if I help you right now, what plan do you have? Directly going and killing them? Alex Do you even know about the Alpha of those werewolves?" Alex was silent and Jake continued "Their Alpha "Lucian Greyback" is really cunning…If He catches any enemy He will do something with him that you can't even imagine…He has really strong wolves in his pack and If the pack is strong then the alpha is stronger…Alex, Lucian Greyback always has a plan, He knows what's happening behind his back, He knows what will you do, He is dangerous, He will make you think that you won, But remember that The game, from the start was in his hands…" Then Jake got up and untied Alex and again said "When you have a plan and if it's a good plan, Count me in" Alex said "Ok…But for now we have to at least do something or else These werewolves will keep on attacking Vampires…but aren't werewolves weaker than vampires? So why cannot we fight them if we are stronger? And where are the rest of the vampires of New Orleans?" Jake replied "I don't know but no doubt there were and maybe are Vampires who are way more stronger than us but right now they are somewhere in the world Away from New Orleans" Alex nodded and then said " Hey…Do you happen to know where I can get some wolfs bane?" Jake got confused for a second and then understood and replied "Well Alpha need a high dose of Wolfs bane but 5% quantity of wolfs bane can kill Wolves and 10% can kill Alpha" Alex quickly Questioned "But is Wolfs bane available here in New Orleans?" Jake replied "I don't think Wolfs bane will be in New Orleans because Werewolves would have hid it or destroyed it somehow." Alex slowly nodded and said "You are right…" As He said that he then left the house empty-handed however he was hoping that Drake would have found anything. As he was heading towards his house then on the center of the street he saw Couple of people beating Drake, Alex started running towards them and then he yelled "Hey stop!" After hearing that, those people stopped and then turned towards Alex and one of those people was that guy whom Alex had fought with in the forest and then left him there, that person said "Oh…Look who it is guys…Alex Morgan…Alex I still remember that how mercilessly you killed my brother and when you told me you just walked away from me… Well right now it's the same situation…right Brian?" One of the guys beside him replied "Yes Will" then Slowly Will started to walk towards Alex and said "I know what you are…Alex…I know, You are a hybrid just like your father Jaden" Alex looked at Will as he continued "Yes…I knew your father, He was a big pain to the wolves I mean when he was Alive so He was a total beast and He destroyed Werewolves But then He married This girl named Elena and left New Orleans… Well I really wanted to kill him with my own hands but He ran away as soon as you were born" All the wolves laughed and then Will Attacked Alex and knocked him down and then All the wolves attacked Alex and they turned into werewolves. Then they knocked Alex down and attacked him everywhere and then stopped and Alex was injured and was on ground then Will said "Leave it guys, He is suffering Right now and when we will take him to Lucian, he will suffer more, Go and burn his house and everything" and then Alex went unconscious.

When Alex woke up so he realized that he was in the forest and he was being carried and then he started to struggle and Then Those people carrying him got alerted and threw him on the ground then Alex was on his feet and there stood Brian, Will and a couple more werewolves who were carrying him…Alex was now filled with rage and then Alex slowly said "You guys just did a mistake, Angering me…" Alex was growling and then Brian came and attacked him but then Alex got hold of him and Grabbed him and bite his neck and took out great amount of blood and then threw him to the ground, Alex eyes were Red and His hands were clenched in fists and then second werewolf and then the third wolf came and all kept on falling, and then The second last came and tried to bite Alex but then Alex roared and Attacked that Person's head and Completely ripped it off and then there the body went and fell to the ground, then Will attacked him but then Alex grabbed him in a way by which he could easily break his Head and then Alex whispered " You want to know…How I killed your brother? First I got hold of him in this position and then I twisted his neck and then I saw fear in his eyes and then…He fell down… You should never have messed with me… Where is drake" Will slowly pointed towards Drake lying unconscious, then Alex Bit him on neck and twisted his neck and ripped it off and threw it away in the sky and away in the forest. There was silence, Then Alex went towards Drake and brought him in consciousness and then helped him get up. Drake was hurt and injured badly Alex thought and then he started to examine if there was a werewolf bite but luckily there wasn't any, "Oh…Man, Never thought you would save my life" Alex grinned and slowly laughed "Well, you have surely been a real Pain, but still you are the only one who is alive in my family, Brother". Drake smiled and then Alex said "We have to get out of here…Wolves must be out, searching for us and we have to get to our house" Drake agreed and then they headed towards their house. When they reached their so a lot of people were in front of their house and one ambulance was there too and…Their house was on fire. "Oh No" Drake said in astonishment and then Alex replied "This has been done by those wolves, I know it" Their house was on fire, All the memories which have been built for a year, they were all burning in that place. Drake said "Hey, Now what?" Alex replied "I have a friend who will help us and we can stay with him for some days", and then they headed towards Chris's house. When they reached there so there was Chris, Playing with his daughter Julie in the Garden and when he saw Alex and Drake so he went towards them and said "Hello, Gentlemen" and then he looked at Alex and said "Nice to see you again Alex" Then Alex said to Chris "Hey, I need some help" Chris replied "Sure, What happened" Alex told him "I need a place to stay for a few days as my house was burned by werewolves" Chris quickly replied "Oh no… well sure, there is a house right beside ours, That's also mine, I give it on rent well for now I give to you as a thanks for saving my Daughter, Its yours You should go and settle in and then I will sent someone to give you some drinks and food" Chris smiled and so did Alex and then Alex thanked Chris and moved in to house Next Door. As they moved to the house next door and when they entered so it was a beautiful house and it had all things. "This house is great man…I am waiting for the drinks" Drake said and chuckled. Alex replied "Yes it is great but…Drake we can't live here for more than a week…" Drake Questioned in Confusion "why?" Alex Replied " Because…Right now I am the person, The wolves are finding and if they get here so Along with your and my lives, Chris and his family's life will be also in Danger…So that's why…Today is Wednesday, We leave this house on Saturday" Drake Nodded and then asked " Well then why come here in first place?" Alex replied "Because this place is away from the forest and I needed a place where I can at least have a good sleep…"
