The Secret Entrance

"Emma we have been here all day, you don't think we will cover the entire library today do you?" Grayson said staring at the pile of books on the table we were yet to finish and search for another one.

I yawned rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand.

"That's it, we're going home right now" he interjected.

I placed my hand on his chest to stop the close distance between us when he drew closer. "Just 5 more minutes"

"You said that an hour ago, look at the time it's 2 am, and don't forget there's high school to attend"

"We could take a sick day," I shrugged.

"Really? And mess up your grades more?"

I rolled my eyes mumbling something under my breath and leafed through the pages of the book I held. "I just feel that we can find something here, I mean look at this library"

"I believe you but we can't find it all in one day," he said with a frown, his eyes scanning my features. "You haven't eaten much too"

I groaned. "Not now"
