I wanted to take Hayden back home, but she begged me not to... saying she didn't want anyone to know she was here, so we booked a hotel. I don't know many places here in Juneau but thanks to Google Maps we were able to find a decent hotel. Lodging in quickly and she set her things.
"Did you pack the whole house back here?" I mused, trying to create some humor after the emotional breakdown. She hadn't exactly been smiling but finally, I caught one spreading her lips even though it was faint and it gave me relief.
"Will be staying for some time" she says sitting on the bed and taking off her shades, hoodie, and cap, her afro curly brown hair is sprout free and I gotta see her attractive aqua eyes too. "After all this was my hometown, wasn't it? Juneau'' she mouth the name with stress and I sighed walking to the bed and taking a seat beside her.
