Round Table

The moment we got to the entrance of the restaurant my eyes widened and I stopped. Dace still held onto my hand so he did too. "What?"

"Shouldn't we just get ice cream?"

"Really?" he raised an eyebrow. "Ice Cream is no food"

"But-"

"Emma, why are you nervous?"

I bit my lip, that restaurant screamed expensive, and it was so out of place for me, I didn't want him buying me food when we didn't even come here together, it was off to me and even after what happened I didn't want him to see me as someone leeching off him.

"I insist Emma"

His words broke me out of my trance and my eyes darted to him, he seemed to know what I was thinking. A sweet smile found his lips. "I wanna get you something to eat, that's what I want or…" he made a sad face that made him look so cute. "I will be sad if I don't," he teased.

"D-Don't be sad because of me" I licked my lips, a smile on my lips.

"Good"

The next we were inside, he led me to one of the tables.

"Yo Dace, where have you guys been?" Lucas asked with arms spread out, Emilia was already seated beside him, legs crossed and typing something on her phone, her shades were off.

Lucas was just as dashing, his light brown eyes fell on me and his smirk seemed to broaden, I blushed. "Seems like we have company…. You must be Emma"

They all seem to know my name, did Dace talk to them about me or something?

"Emma" Dace said pulling the seat out for me, I took a seat and he shifted it properly for me. My heart fluttered by his action, he was gentle with me and I sort of liked it.

"H-Hi," I said to Lucas, not knowing what to say.

"Hello beautiful"

"Lucas, be nice and don't make her uncomfortable," Dace said, taking a seat beside me, the way I was seated, Lucas and Dace were at both sides.

"Of course, I will be nice, at least I'm nicer than grumpy here," he said with a nudge of his head. I knew he referred to Emilia. She rolled her eyes, snapping her gum and my body tensed, she always gave off that vibe of being dangerous.

"I do not need to hear it from you, big head"

Lucas formed a hurt face. "You see? Little minx"

Emilia smacked him on the back of his head. "Ow!"

I snorted a laugh.

"What can I get you guys?" the waiter said, coming to us in his formal attire.

"Your menu," Dace said. And he smiled as he gave me the menu, his eyes seemed to dart to Emilia, I mean who wouldn't stare, she was like an actress.

I heard a growl and the waiter seemed to snap his eyes away, his eyes puzzled by where the growl came from. Wait… a growl? I turned to Dace who had his hard eyes on the waiter, did he growl? It was faint but it sounded like an animal's. I shook my head, you probably hallucinated it, Emma.

My eyes darted to the open menu I held, I think my heart momentarily stopped, Dace why are you doing this to me?

"So what do you want?" My eyes darted to Lucas who spoke to me, he looked at me with a smile on his lips like he was staring at an interesting piece, and I blushed.

"Um" I began but the words didn't form.

"Don't you like anything there?" Dace asked worriedly.

"N-No it's not that'' my eyes darted to the waiter who waited for my order. What should I do? I didn't know what to order and all these dishes cost our rent back in Washington, it didn't sit well with me about eating such expensive dishes.

I felt a hand on my thighs and my body freeze up, that hand was DACE! I faced him and my body ran hot.

"Should I pick for you?"

I nodded like a robot unable to take my eyes off him, I was fully concentrating on his hands against my thighs, even before he took it off, they moved and my body tensed. It felt like he left a burning imprint there. It was so hot and I squeezed my knees together because my lower region ached and I felt myself growing wet. An intense thrill ran through me, it was powerful and it scared me, what was wrong with me?

I didn't even know when Dace ordered something and the waiter left. My gaze remained glued to the table and I finally lifted my gaze and I found Emilia and Lucas' ardent gaze on me. I gulped, why were they looking at me like that?

I noticed Lucas' pupils were dilated just like how Dace's eyes do and Emilia's orbs were suddenly darker than normal, okay what was going on?
