I should have said something but there hasn't exactly been time, now it would seem like I cheated on him, what should I do?!

I couldn't stop my beat from thrashing so fast and I couldn't meet his eyes either, I let them stay glued to his chest, I was thinking, brooding about what I could possibly say.

"I-I-I-I" My attempts to speak was even a joke, I couldn't form the words right, and my nerves were all over the place, I was quivering.

I heard a sigh escape from Dace and I was forced to look at him, he had his back facing me now, when did he turn?

Is he angry? I couldn't read him and that only made matters worse, I could feel the heat radiating off him like a hot furnace was standing before me, I couldn't ease my sweating.
