One Hour

The remnant of the flight was tranquil for me, Just the soft sound of the plane in the air, and the harsh gush of wind. I found it hard to keep my eyes open, each practice of trying to keep my gaze focused was a vain attempt. Everything was becoming more vague by the minute, like the bite was working its way into my body again, like a sedative in my bloodstream. I could feel the bite healing but it was too slow, it would take forever and I don't have forever.

I have to stay awake... I have to try.... passing out once again wasn't a good idea. Who knew what would happen again?

I heard the pilot making an announcement to prepare for landing and I knew what that meant.
