It first started with the Juneau's. They were the first to discover this place, they became the first families, and the town was named after them. The Adams joined along and then the Sherman's and the Hathaway's.
"When did the Devereaux's come in?" I murmured while searching. It only just said the Devereaux family joined in but it didn't state the date or anything else... just their economic support. Just like that? That's it? And they were well known that much? This doesn't feel like the right answer I was searching for. I skimmed through the book hoping to find more information but it all came to economic development.
