Don't Ever Say That Again!

DACE: Hey

I gulped seeing his message, it was simple enough and I thought I should follow that way too, I don't know which mood he is in right now.

ME: Hey

DACE: How are you, baby

I blushed, seeing 'Baby' means he was cool, right? I was about typing but his call came through. I quickly sat on my bed, clearing my throat before sliding the answer button.

"Emma"

Hearing his voice right now was like a dream come through, I mean it has only been a few days but it felt like months. His deep baritone voice is soft around the edges whenever he says my name or the melody it causes to my body.

"Emma, are you there?"

"Y-Yes" Oh great I darted off into my thoughts again. "How are you?" I asked, getting worried again. I couldn't help it because I knew he was still recovering. I don't know how long before the silver got out of his system.

"What?" I almost roared the moment he said those words and then he chuckled.
