I paused, the silence filling the room, at the back of my head I was alarmed at his words but on the other hand, I felt protectiveness from him when he said he wasn't a danger to me, I could merely feel it radiating off him, the will to protect me.

"How did you come here so fast? One minute I'm chatting with you and the next you're here, I didn't see your car"

I narrowed my eyes on him, that was the truth?
