"Are you sure?" 

Iris exhaled a breath of frustration and answered for the nth time. "Yes, I'm sure. I'm going out there in the morning with uncle Theo. We have to talk to Calixto because my hunch about the silver-haired vampire is true." 

"Silver-haired vampire," she mumbled under her breath. "As if we don't have enough." 

"I have a feeling that there are many of them around us. We are just not aware of their existence in the past." 

Elvira nodded. "That's somehow disturbing and there is this part of me not wanting to go out in the dark alone anymore."

Iris chuckled. "But then, there are those vampires who walk during daytime. So, basically, we are fvcked and there is nothing we could do but pray that the person we meet is not a vampire." 

"What are the two of you talking like that?!" 

Iris and Elvira flinched and in unison turned their head to the direction of the bed where Minerva was glaring at them in annoyance.
